Pete's ability to hire exceptional talent amazes me

Last night was a long night holding my teething 15 month old because the only way she is comfortable is to be held upright. The only way I get through those hours is to put my earphones in and listen to the podcast.

I made it through a bunch of episodes during the night, had them on random so got a lovely mix of old and new podcasters and it struck me how successful Pete is at hiring amazing talent. There isn't one person he's brought on to the podcast that I think was anything less than wonderful. I don't think many hiring managers can boast such a success rate.

It also reminded me of a podcaster I'd forgotten about. Does anyone else remember Scott Smith? I listened to the episode where he talked about the ABD Pete sent him and his girlfriend on. Pete couldn't stop with the Brokeback Mountain references, so funny.

This is true. I applied to his open casting call a few months back and the choice of Oliver was a good one for sure! Great chemistry between all.
