My husband took this photo of my daughter and I reading her favourite book, a pop up version of Peter Pan for a school project. I just wanted to share it with other Disney enthusiasts, cause I thought it would be appreciated.
Thanks for looking!!!:goodvibes

Thanks! I'm going to see if I can talk him into doing a bunch of cool Disney themed photos for us. Anyone have some cool ideas?! We don't quite have the money to do it Annie Liebovitz style! lol! But, with some imagination I'm sure we could do something awesome!

That's awesome. How did he do the shadows?

I don't know if this is the method this photographer used, but one way is to position a cut out in front of a point light source. Then you light your subject. Depending on the light used and the distance between it and the cutout you can get a number of effects. It's a very simple but effective device. There was a photographer who did a lot of this type of work and right now the name is escaping me... if I remember I'll post it later.

photo_chick that's totally how he did it. He called the cut out he made a "cookie" ... I know little on photography, only what I pick up from him trying to explain stuff to me! lol!

fantastic photo !.....................I did something along similar lines a while back then animated the shadow on the wall in after effects so that it moved
