Just a heads up to my budget minded friends-My DH went to Petco to pick up a 3 month supply of Frontline Plus for the dog. $66/3 months @ the store. that was higher than last yr and I kind of had sticker shock. I open my email and I have one from Petco. I followed the links and on their webite same product for $48 free shipping. Now I'm mad so I call the 800# and they say we can't price match and the store gives me the same line. I understand a dollar or two but $18 is a bit much. How can they both carry the Petco name and be so far apart in pricing? It's no wonder stores are closing

Many stores that have both a brick and mortar store and an online site have differing prices and don't match them. I know AC Moore is one. Online is often cheaper because they can hold a larger supply and not pay as much in overhead. Sorry for your experience but thanks for the heads up as we are getting a new puppy tomorrow.

Most stores tend to be like that, cheaper online. I would've just returned it and ordered online. We buy ours from the vet. It's always cheaper than any stores, plus we get the buy 6 get 1 free dose right then instead of having to send it in.

I get it online at petcarerx.com. They usually have coupons and free shipping with a certain order amount. I also get the heartworm med from them.

We have Menards (like a Lowes) and they had it in their ad for $31.97 any size. We took it to PetMart and they price matched, so we got two packs of 3 for the price of one. Last year Meijer had the same deal.

Just to let you know, I was told by my vet that people should be aware of the frontline they get any other place than a vet because they it is usually not the real thing.

Our vet actually suggested 1800petmeds for Heartworm and flea meds! I think a pet store would be a reputable place to buy flea meds. The vet has a vested interest in wanting you to buy through them, there is usually a very high mark up.

We buy our Heartguard and Frontline at 1800PetMeds - usually free shipping and cheaper

I did the same a couple of days ago. I did price shop and found 800petmeds to be the cheapest and it was free shipping over $39.
