We're considering taking our small dog with us as we are driving down from NY in Feb. If we board her down there, that will end up being 4 days less in a kennel. I would not consider one of the Disneyworld kennels, am looking for a "real" kennel where they walk them, play with them, give them TLC, maybe one that has special accommodations for smaller dogs. I did hear of a kennel called Bass Pet Motel in Kissimmee. Anyone ever have their pet stay there what is it like? Anyone know of any other excellent kennels in the area. Thanks for any help. We do have a small RV that we are driving down, but rented a vacation home with family, this particular one unfortunately does not allow pets. I also heard of another kennel called VIP, anyone know of that kennel, I believe that is in Orlando. Thanks for any help

Hi!
At teh Epcot Kennel they will walk and play with your pet for an extra 2.50 a walk.
We just returned two weeks ago and our dog was there for 6 nights nad loved it!! The staff was WONDERFUL!!! I cant say enough about the experience.

Thanks tnkrbell. Thats good to know. How large is your dog, my dog is only 5 lbs, I'm having nightmares worrying about where to board her. I always had larger dogs and now with this tiny one I worry a lot. Do they keep the smaller dogs away from the large ones, are they just in small tiny crates? I do like that they will walk her. Do the have an enclosed area to walk them. Thanks for any answers.

Hi:

Great questions, I would like to know all that too.

I know at home here at the kennel we use, they do try to keep the smaller dogs with smaller dogs, etc. We have two shelties, and board them in the medium runs, indoor and outdoor, but we always request beside one another.
But here in ontario, it is l3.00 a day per dog, plus our dreaded tax of l5% on top of that, so it really puts us back alot. Plus I miss them so much,

Deb.

Im not sure about the keeping the little and big away from each other sorry.
My dog is Big!! 125 lbs!! They do have a fenced in area that they walkt odogs in, but my hubby would go every morning and walk him all around the woods area. You can walk the dog as much as you would like. hope this info helps :)

Thanks tnkerbell:

Would you remember the cost of the boarding at the epcot kennel.

Deb.
