Personal wheel chairs in the park?

My question is, do I need to worry about our personal wheel chair "walking off" while at the parks. For example if we park the wheel chair and walk in to see a show?

I would think it would be fine but I would keep it with you and just walk behind it

not likely. You are more likely to 1) lose any items of value you leave with the chair 2) have the chair get reparked by a cm

I would make some kind of a tag for it that says this wheelchair belongs to....

That is what we did with my mother's ECV which of course is much less likely to walk off, but we took precautions. I think if someone sees it is personally owned they are less likely to *accidently* walk away with it.

You can go into most shows with a wheelchair so just take it with you!

I've gone on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and left my personal wheelchair in the stroller parking area by the moving walkway escalators that take you up to the ride. When I'd come back down. My wheelchair would still be in the same place where I left it. I can walk for short distances. But, I have scoliosis, and ostearthritis in my back in addition to my primary physical disability which I have to be careful about how much walking I do. All of the shows, and most of the rides will be able to accommodate you in your wheelchair. A cast member at the entrance of a show will direct you, and party where to sit.

I used to be concerned about leaving our child's manual wheelchair outside a queue given what we paid for it. But, then I thought to myself, nobody in their right mind would ever think that thing was worth $7,000!
