Does WDW accept personal checks for anything?

They sure do.

If you stay on site you can pay for the remainder of your reservation with a personnal check upon arrival. I have charged to the room secured with a debit card and if you charge under $500.00 you can pay it off with a check upon departure. You can even write a check for $50.00 to WDW and they will give you cash.

I am not sure about resturants and stores though.

Traveler checks are excepted everywhere! I perfer Visa Traveler checks.
