Is there any reason NOT to wear a casual sundress to any of the parks?

I have a friend who likes to wear longer, calf-length sundresses (she says they're much cooler than shorts and a top, because the waistbands aren't as binding).

But I think it depends on what type of rides you like to go on, as well as how long the dresses are. You sure wouldn't want your dress to fly up on you unexpectedly!

DO NOT wear a dress to MGM! there was a picture of me on TOT during the drop where all you can see is my skirt, underwear and legs flying up! Also, be cautious at Honey I Shrunk the Audience and It's Tough To Be A Bug if you pull your legs up on the seat! Try a skort - a skirt with hidden shorts underneath! I didn't think about the windstreams....my face was sooooooooooooo red!

I wore a skirt every day of my last trip in June! I don't wear shorts any more. Skirts are much more comfy and much more flattering on just about every woman! :thumbsup2

Chafing and sunburn are the only two issues that come to mind. If you don't usually have a chafing issue, you should be fine. Watch the shoulders, though, if you are pretty "bare" - and use a lot of suncreeen!!

 SCNADELOUS TIMES!!! hahahaha

I wear bike shorts under my skirt / dress. No chafing for me. And, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing those shorts by themselves--TMI. They sure are comfy though.

My favorite is a golf shirt type dress. It hits me about mid calf (I'm short) and is not binding anywhere. It is cooler than shorts and t-shirt.

Some rides are challenging to step in and out of so if the sundress is loose fitting and long enough, you should be okay as long as you position it correctly when you sit to avoid it flying up on any coaster rides.
