We have two boys, almost 9 and 13. Did we have a perfect day at Coco Cay? Yes!
We had the Key and had the chance to get off the boat a little ahead of everyone else, at 8:00. We met in On Air and were escorted in front on the line. This gave us plenty of time to grab a quick breakfast.
We reserved a water park cabana. In our room, we had a ticket and 6 wristbands. We also had a letter explaining that 6 towels would be provided in the cabana, 6 bottles of water, and which cabana we were assigned. When we got to water park entrance, someone escorted us to the cabana concierge, who walked us to our spot. We met our awesome attendant for the day. She explained how to work safe, and how to push a button when we needed anything. We also met the cabana manger who told us to let us know if we needed anything.
My boys quickly disappeared to ride the water slides. Everyone we met was very nice and told us to ride the big slides before the lines got long. By 10:30, they had done all the slides. We ordered lunch and drinks. The food was very good and my boys at lunch twice and had a snack!
When the lines got really long, we ventured out to the beach. By the time we got back around 1, the water park started to clear out. The boys had so much fun doing whatever they wanted!
Did I think it was worth the $470 I paid when we only had 4 in our party? Absolutely!! I’ve been to many water parks and this was really is great if your kids are old enough to ride everything. Both of my boys said this was definitely a perfect day!
We’ve been to Castaway Cay and this beats it hands down!!
