We are going on a cruise after we leave Disneyland. My husband only drinks pepsi so he will need some before and during the cruise. Is there a place walkable from Hojo's where we could pick some up? Thinking of a liquor store, gas station, 7-11, anything? If not, how about a short taxi drive away?

Thanks!!

There are a couple mini marts in the motels along Harbor. My choice is usually the 7/11 at Harbor and Katella. It is walkable, but is a long walk (maybe a mile?)

From the Hojo, cross to the Disney side, walk all the way down to Katella (the other end of the Disneyland Property) and it is on that corner.

They actually have a mini-mart in the lobby area of Hojos that has soda.

Although I find this sort of situation fascinating. Does he drink water? How about Coke?

I remember years ago (my college years and just beyond) when I only drank diet 7-up. My insides must of looked like neon mush! Thank goodness I got over that one. Water is now my beverage of choice.:goodvibes

We both drink at least 80oz of water a day so we don't lack there. We enjoy a can or two of soda. My choice is diet coke which Disney has but they do not carry pepsi at the park or on the cruise.

Glad I'm not the only one. We are doing the same thing - DL to DCL in Sept. While I also drink a ton of water, I know I'll want to ration a couple of bottles of Mt. Dew. :rotfl2: We'll probably be staying at Fairfield Inn.

Loving these tips!

I definitely know that he isn't the only one that does this! For him it would work out to 3weeks without pepsi. I certainly understand. We don't drink tea or coffee so soda is our treat.

I am the same way. For me, it is Diet Pepsi. In the park, its iced tea. But I always have my addiction at the hotel.

Thankfully I can drink both diet pepsi and diet coke. I prefer diet coke though.

I don't think the little shop at Hojo's will have enough pepsi for a supply for 18 days! It might be better to take a taxi to a grocery store if there is one close. Not sure where the closest grocery store is and how much a taxi would cost. Hopefully someone can help you out with the closest grocery store!

If you want to buy a large case, I'd head to Target. Straight south on Harbor, about 2 miles, on left hand side.

Will show this thread to my kids as I have a very big Diet Dew issue:thumbsup2 and will be getting my fix outside the park to make it through the day 2 days till we leave.

:thumbsup2:lmao:

I contacted Hojo's and they only sell it by singles. Yikes, that could get expensive, :rotfl:, It will probably be a Target run then or the walk to the 7-11. Thanks everyone.

If you wanted to stock up on Pepsi, we can definitely call you a taxi to Target or Von’s grocery store! Both are fairly close to us and a taxi ride should be no more than $10. Hope this helps.

Have fun on your cruise!

^^^Ultimately this is what I would do, so you can stock up on all your provisions you need for the cruise.

It's not far to the 7eleven, but walking back with cases of beverage is not what I would call vacation.
