Pepper Market?

I know this has been asked before, but I cant seem to find the answer right now. If we eat at the pepper market, and are using the dining plan, is the 10% gratuity included? Or do we have to pay that OOP? Thnaks!

No it's not. They do not necessarily ask for it anymore (although some waiters will mention it), but if you look at the bottom of the ticket they give you (the one that is punched by the chef's when you order) it says, 'gratuity not included', this includes for the DDP too. You are expected to leave it on the table. The cashier will not ask for it. If you want to avoid the gratuity, you can order your food to go and either take it back to your room or go to one of those tables right outside the Pepper Market and eat your meal overlooking the lake.

When you enter PM, as for a "to go" ticket. This not only alerts the cashier to not charge the 10% (for those not on a dining plan), but alerts the CM's at the individual pods to package the meal in a to go container and not put it on a plate. Of course I always tell the CM's at the pods my order is "to go", but having the ticket labeled "to go" too helps.
