We are booked at Coronado Springs for April. In looking at the menus for Pepper Market it appears as if both breakfast and lunch are "all you can eat" buffets for a single price. I am a weight loss surgery patient and wish to order a la carte.

Does anyone know?

It looks like the buffet at PM is there to stay. I'm a bit disappointed as I enjoyed the food court during our stay there. Maya Grill has some great food though and Cafe Rix was great for eating on the run!

I think the buffets are there to stay as well, and sadly Maya Grill is not serving breakfast at this time. That means the only non-buffet places to get food at CSR during breakfast and lunch are Cafe Rix (the grab and go spot) and Siesta's, the pool bar. I'm really hoping they introduce a different option.

By the way, since there aren't any other options at this time, you might want to call CSR and see if you can work out an a la carte payment system with the management of the restaurant due to your special diet needs. Never hurts to ask!

I was at the resort when it changed from ala carte to buffet, and due to food allergies, I eat very specific foods. they would not allow any type of ala carte ordering from the buffet at that time.

I did go to guest services and provide feedback that they have to have an area for a guest to order made to order food due to food allergies as the change essentially prohibited me from eating breakfast at the resort.

The grill at the grab and go place does make breakfast sandwiches and I think they had oatmeal and pastries, if that would work for you.

Unfortunately, this change turned my most favorite moderate into my least favorite moderate and I'm not sure I'll be able to stay there in the future.

Count me in as greatly disappointed. We just booked our third trip & first stay at CSR for June. We eat at the resort food courts often. We were torn between returning to CBR, which we loved, or trying something new. CSR won, but now I'm not so sure. Cafe Rix may be fine for a grab & go breakfast in the morning, but it looks like it will be snacks at the pool bar for anything else. We are going OOP so will not be paying for the buffet at PM. :sad2:
