Has anyone used the MYW Dining Plan for Breakfast at the Pepper Market at the CSR. What was available on the plan....What wasn't?

I did a little research on this question...

Are any of the following breakfast items considered "desserts" on the meal plan?

Cup of Strawberries - $2.75
Fresh Fruit - melon bowl cup $2.50; Bowl $3.75
Cereal with Milk $2.59
Seasonal Fruit - with strawberries or pineapple bowl $4.95; cup $2.75
Grapes - $2.50

Muffins, Yogurt, Plain Biscuit, Cookies - $2.25
Pecan Roll, Turnovers, Croissant, Cinnamon Roll, Fruit Cake, Danish - $3.15
Specialty Cakes, Loaf of Bread, Slice of Pie - $3.75
Bagels $2.50
English Muffins $1.75
Toast $0.95

Do a search. Pepper Market isn't owned by Disney. A few posters said they weren't allowed a dessert with breakfast and side items like bacon were only included if you ordered a breakfast combo that included it.

It may depend on the generosity of the cashier. I don't think I'd make a trip to the resort hoping to get lucky. If you're staying at CSR you might give it a shot but I think getting breakfast or dinner at PM would give you a better value.

We got a Disney mailing regarding out upcoming reservations (which we have already changed). I don't recall the exact wording, but on the counter service description there was a reference to "Dessert, except at breakfast".

Very Interesting...Was that at Pepper Market or for all CS?

We ate at the Pepper market frequently while staying at the CSR in June and we were allowed either a muffin or cookie for dessert with any meal. At breakfast you were allowed an entree or one of the daily "specials" which included bacon or sausage ususally. We usually took a muffin or M&M cookie (yum) for a mid-morning snack at the park. I hope this helps.

swilshire, is your trip in 2005 or 2006?

The 2006 brochure has the dessert exception for breakfast (for all CS).

Our trip is in October 2005.

It was a general statement on the section relating to the MYW dining. I didn't read too closely since we have already changed the ressie and should get another package. We also aren't breakfast eaters, so I wasn't too interested.

I'll dig it out over the weekend and quote it exactly.

The CSR menu doesn't include bacon or sausage with the kid's platter. Do you need to pay extra for this? DS could eat his weight in bacon. THANKS!
