Peoplemover question

We have never done the Peoplemover.
Is there a platform or something where you can wait for a certain car.

My idea is: DH does Space Mountain (FP), DD5 and I do Peoplemover once or twice until DH jumps in and joins us. Possible?

Yes it's totally doable. No platform to wait for a certain car. You get loaded one person after the other. If you want to ride it more than once you would have to exit the ride and go through the line again.

It's a continuously loading ride - you'll go up a ramp, get into a car, ride, then get out of the car in a different area of the loading platform. So no, DH won't be able to wait on the loading platform for you to come by and then jump into the car with you. Each time you & DD come to the end of the ride you'll have to get out, go down the exit ramp, then walk back around to the entrance and go up the entrance ramp to load again. DH can meet you at the bottom of the entrance ramp and you can all go up to ride together.

I do that. Kids and wife ride Space I ride TTA.

And FYI, it is possible to continue riding without exiting and re-boarding. It depends on how many people are waiting and ou'd three CM at the exit is willing. Our personal best is 10 trips in a row, which we did for our 40th anniversary. CMs got into it as well, giving us a "comemorative Mickey sticker" signed by them alI.

Not the norm, of course, but with a little pixie dust, you can ride multiple times in a row.

The Peoplemover is a really great ride--no thrills, but you get to see a great deal of the park, and there are a few excellent views of Cinderella's castle. There are some dark sections--you go inside Space Mountain on a flat track. There are a lot of scenic interior views. I really enjoy this ride, because you can usually get on it quite quickly. I think the announcer is quite funny, though that may be an acquired taste. I don't think you would dislike going one or twice while your husband goes on Space Mountain, and then waiting at the entry of the ride to go with him for a second or third time. One comment about it--the cars all seem to be hooked together when you are boarding. A short time later, they separate. So if your entire family is not in the same car, you may see some of them being whisked off ahead of you, or trailing you by what seems like a lot. But all the cars run on the same route, and you will rejoin them by the time you are exiting.

I was not sure about the loading procedere, but now i got it.

If there is nö line, I'm just going to ask CM if we can stay on the ride.
