...space their children seven years apart. This year my oldest turned 10 and my youngest turns three. Pricing tickets and meals for our next trip - OUCH!

Time to dig out my crock pot cookbook and Big Book of Bathtub Brewed Beverages!

:)

But the 10yo will enjoy riding everything twice with the swaps. The oldest will make out like a bandit ;).

Yep, just had our last trip with a 9 year old! The jump from no ticket to ticket is worse than kid to adult tix. The character meals are so much more $$$ with the 10 and ups.

Huh? :confused3 Wouldn't the cost be even more if your children were 9 and 10?

Just asking. :)

My kids are 9 years apart! It's difficult to go to Disney. Last time we went, DS(5 now) cried the whole time. He was about 3 or 4 then. Hopefully, we can go in the next year or so.

wouldn't it be the same price? Isn't 3-9 child and then adult is 10. My DD9 will be 10 on our trip in October.

I just meant it was hard to take those two price jumps (from free to child price and from child to adult price) in the same year. The good news is that by the time the youngest is ten, the oldest will be old enough to get a job and earn her own souvenier money.

Or maybe I just charge her for her entire portion of the trip? Or make her stay home, and thus save on not only her tickets, but the cost of a pet sitter!

Price jumps. Got it. :)

Remember your old refillable mugs and your canned corn! You can always just lie about the age of your 3yo and get her in for free. ;) :rotfl:
