There is probably a better place to ask this, but I'm used to looking to this board for advice, so it's where I wanted to start..
Looking to take a trip to Pensacola, FL this summer.. Me , DH, DS 16 and DD 14.
I've narrowed it down to Margaritaville or Holiday Inn Resort, but wondered if anyone had opinions on either one?
Which is better for rooms? activities?
Thanks for your help!

The Holiday Inn has an amazing pool with a lazy river and the poolside bar and restaurant is pretty good. It's walking distance to most of the activities on the beach like putt putt, the boardwalk, shopping, and some great restaurants. There is more "activity" at that side of the island for a 14 and 16yr old I think. Margaritaville is beautiful! The pool is pretty but I wouldn't consider it a "fun" pool for your kids. It is located in a quieter area of the island. You can rent paddleboards across the street and paddleboard in a quiet body of water called Little Sabine. There are free trolleys that run all day to anywhere you would want to go on the beach. There are some fantastic restaurants. Peg Leg Petes is a must do. Also, The Grand Marlin and Hemmingways. I think your kids would like Holiday Inn, but you and your husband would probably prefer Margaritaville.

We have a Maragritaville here and I've been a handful of times and I'm just not that impressed with it. However ours has a really great buffet so if you don't stay there I'd try to make time to at least go hit up the buffet. It was the part I part I liked best!
