Why do we ALWAYS lose at penalties??!!

I'm absolutely gutted, what a game. Beckham injured, Rooney sent off and then the dreaded penalties. Personally I wouldn't have put Lampard up for a penalty, but there you go, only 4 years till the next one. Look on the bright side ~ all the England merchandise will be half price now

I don't think Rooney's sending off was fair especially after Ronaldo gave his head a bit of a push from behind whilst whispering something in his ear before the start of the match. I totally agree with Shearer that I wouldn't be surprised if Rooney sticks one on him at the Man U training ground.
Why is it though that Engalnd can never get to the semi's or win on a penalty shoot out?
I think it takes real guts to get up there and take a penalty.
My nail technician is not going to be happy with me next week as I have no nails left to stick anything to now
