Wow time for another round of sign ups, and this will bring us into the holiday months, my favorite! This round will cover the months of November, December, and January. Since these are busy months, and sometimes the post office may take longer in delivering the mail, please be sure to get your pen pal letter/twist out on time so that there is no delay in proceeding with the following month.
For those of you who are new, this is how this exchange works. Each month, I will send out a topic of the month, and a twist of the month. The topic of the month is a topic that you talk about with your pen pal. Just to give you an idea of things to write in your letters,and feel free to write anything else you wish. For the twist of the month, you will be sending your pen pal something light in weight, inexpensive based upon the twist theme. Ex. Send your pen pal something that is made in your state....so people have sent edible items, handmade items found at craft fairs.....
Each week from Monday-Friday everyone is asked to check in for the week. The send by date is the SECOND SUNDAY of each month. Each participant must post as soon as they have sent out their letter/twist, and as they receive it to let me, and their pen pal know that they have safely received their letter/twist.
Participants, if you will be away during the exchange period, please let me know of your dates. And ONLY sign up if you are able to commit to the send by date, so that it is a fun exchange for everyone.
Sign ups will be till September 23, with names out by Oct. 10th. I will get everyone the topic, and twist for Nov. before November comes around so that you can get a head start.
If you are a returning participant, you may get the same pen pal as a previous round. If you remember, and if you wish to get a new pen pal, let me know the names of your previous pen pals, and I will try to set you up with someone new. If you are okay with just receiving any participants name, you do not have to worry about this. This exchange is open just for adults. Kids are welcome to join our monthly card/twist exchange.
