Sign ups will start now for the next round of the Pen Pal exchange. Each participant will be matched up with a pen pal, and you will write to them for three months-Aug., Sept., and Oct. Each month, you will include the topic of the month-(there will be an assigned topic to talk about each month, and you may tell your partner anything else you wish to tell them. I just ask that you keep things on the main board low key. Do not mention dates that they will be away, post their entire name, .... for privacy reasons). There will also be a monthly twist which you will send together with your letter. (The twist is a little something extra that is store bought that you will send to them- ex. the topic might be to send your p.p. an edible treat made in your state/country).
Each months exchange must be sent out by the second Saturday of the month. You must post on the sent/received thread that you have sent out your exchange, and post as soon as you receive them. I keep track of all mailings. If you will be away during the exchange period, please let me know before your travel so that I know you are not MIA. Also so that I know, and your pen pal knows that you are still around, there is a mandatory weekly check in. Check in from Monday-Friday of each week.
Once all mailings for the past month have been received, I will then announce the next months topic, and twist. So you will have around three weeks to get your letter, and twist together for the next month. Try to mail your exchange out early if possible, especially if you will be sending internationally.
This is a great way to get to know your fellow exchangers, and to find out new information, as well as to get treats monthly in the mail.

Names for the next round will be given the first week of July followed by the twist, and topic towards the middle of July. *I sometimes give out the twist or topic early ...sometimes via pm, and sometimes by posting on the board, so keep checking the thread as well as your pm box.
