After 14 trips, it really is much easier to do itineraries. I know our tendencies and likes and dislikes. Working at many, many restaurant openings as a training coordinator--timing and scheduling is very important....It gives you a great framework to work with...

Looks good, I like that you have the AK restrooms scheduled.

It does seem like a lot of Everything Pop.....

But you've got some nice dining in there!

I know. I love that Food Court! But it might be nice to get some variety in there huh......

Your itinerary looks great! I love how you have everything down to the minute! And I love that you have lots of down time/rest time/hang out time!

Whoa! That is some touring schedule. I wouldn't have thought to schedule in hanging out in the bar time, you sure did! I like those reminders to self to take those midnight walks around the resort too. I would have forgotten to schedule in a little laundry time too.

I LOVE my laundry time..it is actually very relaxing after a long day in the park.

Take it from a reformed barfly, it's nice to schedule that in..that's entertainment right there just watching the others at the bar and I love meeting people

A question.... I"ve not done the trails in AK yet, and you only have 30 minutes for them. Is that really all you need?? Or would you say for a newbie, more time would be needed to really "get it"? I really hope I'll be able to catch a PM EMH there!

I would say 30 minutes is good, but if you really want to stop and read everything about every animal, I would schedule 45 minutes. I love checking out every nook and cranny on the trails.

I didn't see any shows or fireworks or parades- do you avoid them?? What's up with that?

LOL. You didn't mention Character meals. Nope. Not a parade or fireworks person. After working at DL for several years, just can't do either parades or fireworks. Character interaction is just okay for me. I kinda did more in 08 and had fun so maybe I'll do more of it this year, but meals are just to chaotic for me with characters there.

Your plans puts mine to shame. So much more detail and lots of down time. We'll have to compare it to the finished product in a couple of months.

By the way I finally tried diet sierra mist cranberry splash. I give it . Very tangy.

That is TOO funny. I'm drinking one right now!!!!

In 08, I had 14 drafts of the itinerary and we kept to it. One thing we can't predict is weather. So that'll affect when we do typhoon lagoon. In 05, Wendy and I had to totally readjust our itinerary 3 days into the trip. It's so helpful to have something to work off of....

I haven't factored you and Cherie in there yet...I posted the schedule so you could see where we'll/I'll be on the days you're there..

The schedule will actually get more detailed as I know more and more information.

For the TS I am nor a big fan of DHS TS restaurants , Epcot has much better !! I love the theming at Sci Fi and the food is ok!! Mama Melroses is also ok !! I haven't tried BD and it is a 2TS !! For breakfast I love BOMA but I didn't care for the african flavors !!I also haven't done Kona and it is on my radar too!!! I am not much help really!!

I also am leaning towards something at Epcot...Le Cellier comes immediately to mind. I didn't eat with the gang at LeCellier in 08 as I was watching the kids...We'll see though. I have 13 days to figure it out.

Yes, it's true; I'll have to go back through my trivia books and find it, but yeah, that's what it said!! I'd keep my armpits to myself henceforth..., but then again, how can it be worse than all that germy, disgusting money people are always wasting in there?

Do you know all the money in the wishing wells etc get donated to charity. At least when I worked at DL that's what was done.

Yeah, I knew that too, but I figured most folks who toss their money in don't know that. I think they think the little dancing can-can girl will give them their every wish... I am glad, though, that they scoop it out of the "potable" water and pass it along. I heard they only clean them out about every 4-6 months. How does that keep the water clean enough to drink??

I know at DL they are continuously cycling the water through a filtering system....

It looks like it's just you and me right now...unless some of those Pacific Northwesterners are still up.

OK so I was sick for like 3 days and now I'm like 30 pages behind!

4) I do want to do Animal Kingdom's Evening Magic Hour on Wednesday.

I made sure to schedule an AK day with PM EMHs. I've wanted to do AK at night for the last two trips but in 2007 AK had PM hours on the same day that we were going to MNSSHP, and in 2008 they had PM hours on the say day that we were going to the P&PP! This year, it's looking like we might actually get to it - Hopefully there will be no last minute schedule changes on Disney's part.

5) I'd like to eat at Jiko, Sanaa, Kouzzina, Boma, Tusker House or Flying Fish. I'm doing DDP so I'll have 4 TS credits for Monday day through Thursday at 4pm.

We've only ever been to Boma but I love it so much I have to schedule it for every trip now! And I haven't even had a zebra dome yet!

6) I have the Water Park Plus Option so either Typhoon Lagoon (Blizzard Beach is closed for rehab in Feb and it wouldn't be an option anyway) and/or Disney Quest are options.

I haven't been to TL since 2004! I miss it but we just don't have time...I'm hoping that our next trip can be 10 days instead of 8....It's hard to believe I actually used to think that 5 days was long enough!

7) I should have one last visit with Matt and ESPN in there somewhere as well.

Your visits with Matt usually lead to funny drunk stories so you should absolutely go visit him again.

My roommates banned me from the computer as they fed their BEJEWELED Addiction ALL WEEKEND. I'm serious.

OK, Bejeweled is a great game and all...but this is a bit much. And DISing all night long is totally not the same thing

I will catch up with everyone later today....Happy Columbus Day...(oh by the way, California doesn't get the day off, except federal offices...)

I had to work too. Kids have the day off from school and banks and stuff are closed...but all of us regular people had to work.

for your 1 TS meal left, i'd go for kona. the poly is always a nice place to visit and you can get a lapu lapu....enough said.
