PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

Merrills are good. Borns are too heavy for me for some reason.

waiting for plane fare updates with crossed fingers.

Good to know about Borns..

I have some news about airfares...

I second the Tevas!!! Love them- a lot!

What'd you find on Southwest?? Go there yet?

I have gone to the Southwest site. I kinda wish I hadn't.

I lived in Oregon for 7 years, so I totally get what you're saying about missing the rain. But I've lived in TN for the last (almost) 5 years and I've seen enough rain for a lifetime! Dude! Bring on the sun. (And no humidity...)

It's 70 degrees today-beautiful, clear, crisp.

Chapter 32. Decisions, decisions.

Nothing like a Fall Sunday afternoon. Hanging out, watching a little football, doing a little DISing, getting a little massage......a maybe, just maybe, making a little something for the trip...

Buddy likes Sunday afternoons too:

My roommates bought a massage chair..for 3500.00!!!!! It's been something that's gotten a LOT of use:

My roommate, Leo, has a bit of a problem..He's a hoarder of sorts. He spent his leisurely Sunday afternoon trying to clean up his computer room:

Here's what's going away somewhere (probably just to the garage and not the garbage):

Airfare roulette
Okay so you've heard IF I leave Thursday night/arrive Friday morning, airfares are about 300.00! I would have to add a night to my reservation, but I'm already saving 220.00 on the 5/2 deal. So I would still be saving money even adding a night. But I would have to add a vacation day. By leaving on Friday night, I still get in a full day's work (and really who can really work on that last day before vacation) in. Should I stay that extra night?

Now Winkers points out a Southwest Fare out of Orange County for 223.00! It's not non-stop and it is only for Friday travel, not Thursday. I would get into MCO at 11pm and leave on the 18th at 2:30pm. So I'm paying basically just to sleep at Pop and on the 18th. I get very little, if any, park time. However, Southwest has NO bag fees. So I'd be saving about 120.00 in airfare......I probably need to decide on the Southwest fare today as it probably won't be around much longer(if it's still there now). Should I do Southwest? Is saving money worth losing 5-6 hours park time that last day and paying for an extra night?

I am waiting for Wendy to call, but she hasn't returned my calls yet.....

Stay tuned to see how this all pans out!

Hey Jordan. T (DL Mama) told me about a site called Bing travel that will search airfares. She said she saved a ton of $$$ on her last 2 trips using them. THe website is bing.com/travel

Hmmm,decisions-decisions. Love the binder!! So many cute pics on there!! I would opt for as much time at the parks as possible but I hate paying for bags hmmmm.

Thanks. I love the binder too. It will definitely come in handy!

This will be the first trip where I have to pay for bags...maybe. I didn't have to pay for bags when I went to China.

Subbing since we're there at the same time. I was reading through here, you have a way with words... I wish I could say the same. :)

Awesome looking chair!

Yes! Binder Time! Gotta love that stage of the planning game.

 the binder!!! You are the Binder King, I bow to your greatness :worship:. I have never flown anything but SouthWest, I am cheap and it gets us to Disney, where I can spend that money on Disney junk :thumbsup2.

If I had access to a massage chair I would never get anything done.

I love your binder...can't wait to see the adventures of binder 2010...will it be going to thanksgiving and christmas?

Tough decision on the airfare...southwest is my favorite airline for 2 reasons , well actually 3....

I love having some say in where and who I'm sitting by....I don't have to worry about getting stuck between fart man and b.o. boy on a 5 hour flight. Let's just say that my sense of smell was out of whack for a few weeks after that experience.

You can still take 2 bags without being charged.....for someone who over packs like myself, that's a big plus.

Usually you can't beat their prices...it's very rare I can find it cheaper.

Southwest and I have a love-hate relationship. Love the cost and relaxed atmosphere, hate the cattle call and lack of assigned seating. (You'll see that in my TR much much later on.)

CUTE DOGGY! I have kids instead of pets, but I do pat them on their heads and rub their bellies from time to time.

I am really considering the possibility of flying Southwest.

The Binder looks great.

So does Buddy!

But Leo....YIKES!

I'd need to sit in the massage chair not to stress about all those papers. It looks like Jeff's side of the desk!

Personally...

I love the red eye. You get a full park day, a nap and get on east coast time much faster!

So that's my vote.

Of course I'm also not a southwest fan BUT traveling solo probably wouldn't mind it that much.

If I had access to a massage chair I would never get anything done.

I fell asleep in it TWICE yesterday.:rolleyes1

Two things working in Southwest's favor: price and leaving out of Orange County

Southwest and I have a love-hate relationship. Love the cost and relaxed atmosphere, hate the cattle call and lack of assigned seating. (You'll see that in my TR much much later on.)

I am like you...Southwest...I love it, hate it.

Ha! the comment about your kids...:rotfl2::rotfl2:

The binder is looking pretty spiffy! Mine is getting ready to be dismantled. :( But a new one is right around the corner, I am sure.

Good luck on the current spin of the airline roulette wheel! :thumbsup2

Wendy helped me with the Binder.

Buddy is spoiled by Jean.

Leo....I should show you the closet!!!!!:scared1::scared1::scared1:

I have taken the red eye almost all my trips. I, too, love it!

We'll see about Southwest.........
