I'm just reading up on your PTR, but had to stop here to say DUDE! If the planets all align and I keep my fingers crossed we may be living really near you next summer! Westminster, off Magnolia and McFadden; we're looking at moving into my uncle's house, two doors down from the one I was born in. (Awe...) Fingers crossed... I miss Cali!

That's pretty close to where I live! I love So Cal, but miss the Pacific Northwest....love the rain!

jordan my man, sign up for the disney give a day get a day for 2010 promo they are offering, you can do you service 1 day the first week of january get your redemtion ticket, and use that for another park day in when you go.

That is a GREAT Idea! I would've never thought of that.

Add the extra days. There is so much to do without going to the parks. Are you getting WP and more. GO to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizard Beach. Disney QUest? HAng by the pool?

I'm not sure about the extra days....yet. I would have to miss one more day of work. I don't know if I'd do it on the front or back end of the trip.

All caught up-was in Vegas for the weekend. Saw Pet Shop Boys in concert-good show.
I hear ya on the airfare. We have 7 monthes and it is in the high 3s...We had a credit last time....
I am not much help with the schedule since this will only be my 2nd trip.

Pet Shop Boys..West End girls.....I saw YAZ this past spring...AMAZING.

I am leaning towards my FDM side, but true, it does depend on how I score on Airfare Roulette.

Did you see that on the give a day get a day thing if you are buying multiple park day tickets already you can get a 6 PERSON FAST PASS?

Chapter 31. Late night DISing.

Most of you are in bed, fast asleep, while I ponder my next update here in the corner of the sectional in our living room:

Airfare Roulette
Prices are now flucuating between 399-470 RT non-stop. Flights are down to 319 for the same approximate dates in January. I'm hoping by the end of the month, I can purchase tickets. I don't like the unknown. Oh and by the way, I put in my dates one day on Delta.com and got a 1500.00 price.... I'm hoping that was for a first class ticket...if not....

Just keep watching them with Kayak.com, Sidestep.com, etc.

Accommodations
As you know I'm staying at AKV the last 4 days of my trip and POP the first 8 days of my trip. Did you hear there are codes out through March? Well, lo and behold, I was able to get the discount for the Pop portion of my trip. SOOOO.....I'm saving over 200.00 now!!!

But to any WDW nutjob saving money, say with a discount, the next question is almost always, "Can I stay an extra day or two?". Of course, it would be easy to justify since I've already budgeted for the original expense. The problem lies in the fact that with 10 days being the max for a Park ticket, I wouldn't be adding days in the park just days at WDW. That's not a bad thing just limits options. What do you think?

OK, first of all, I prefer to refer to such mathematical equation massaging as "Fuzzy Disney Math", as opposed to "any WDW nutjob saving money". BAHAHAHAH

I think you should add as many days as possible, park days or not. We had one open day last vacation and it was wonderful to just hang out at the pool, wander over to the other resorts and just plain relax

ADRs
I think we're pretty set on the ADRs for the first part of the trip. For the solo part of my trip, it's still up in the air. There are places that I want to eat, but also parks I want to be on certain days and sometimes where I want to eat doesn't match up with where I'll be. If you can figure it out for me let me know.

I'm a total amateur - I've only done one trip with ADRs! Leaving this one for the experts!

For your schedule !! What about an evening monorail crawl !!! I think it might be kinda cool for the waterparks but if not a day there followed by the crawl ! I suggest the Monday as that is Presidents day and the Parks would be crowded !! Tuesday is a good MK day!! I hear they have refurbishment plans for MK's Fantasyland !! It came from a CM friend of mine so I think it's reliable !! Wednesday is an AK day for me sometimes but not sure if that is the EMH day!! For ADRS have you done Raglan Road I think an Irish Peep would enjoy it !!

Good luck with those fluctuating flight prices, it is a bear trying to get a good rate right now. $1,500 better include 1st class AND a foot massage!

Great news on saving the $200 at POP - that rocks! And staying more days would give you more time to wander through the resorts and hit DTD at the end of your trip ...and of course give more time to kick back at your favorite poolside bars

The FantasyLand Refurb was announced during that D23 conference so it is for sure true. It may have been while you were on vacation. It looks really cool!
