PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

Jordan, I loved your Great Wall pics! How amazing that you were standing there. I can't wait to see the fun and games you have cooked up for us. If I don't check back in, have a great week at camp! I just informed Jim we are celebrating his 50th and your 50th on a cruise pirate:- He's not so sure - doesn't want to "celebrate 50" :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I think we'll be there!

How absolutely breathtaking!!

I completely understand your feeling of awe...

Kathy

The lack of other tourists really set the tone. No cell phones, TVs, laptops...nothing...it was a bit overwhelming at first.

Wow-Jordan-WOW-those are some awesome pictures...

I have heard before that the Great Wall has a profound impact on even the most jaded travelers-I believe it is one of the 8 Wonders of the Modern World-Nat.l Geographic compiled a new list a couple of years back-...

I didn't picture such a steep climb though...wow-you need to train to get up there...

(I know I shouldn't have but I get picturing Shan Yu from Mulan-when that Guard lights the warning signal "Now all of China knows you are here..." and Shan Yu (in the really sinister voice says "Perfect."...)

Now those Great Pictures-Those you would see in the ABD travel brochures...:lmao:

Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong are exactly where I'd want to go...
(Now that you've been there you should consider doing the Jordan Tour of China-I'm sure you could undercut the $6k that ABD asks for? :confused3

_-love that you had Wendy's kids with you...:lmao:

China is actually pretty inexpensive, especially if you know people living there. They can tell you about good hotels, good eats, transportation--without breaking the bank. I spent about 2000 dollars total and half was for plane fare. Now I stayed in what can be compared to a dorm at a college, but for 15 dollars a night, it was fine for me.

Hong Kong should be on everyone's list. About 80 percent of the population understand and speak English, since it's a former British territory. It's probably the most Western friendly of any of the cities I mentioned. Although, because of the Olympics, Beijing is pretty user friendly.

Thank you so much for sharing your China trip with us, the pictures were amazing. I can't imagine how beautiful that was in person. I loved your "me Jordan" picture.

I have informed Bill that we are going to Disney when you are there for your birthday. It would be so great to meet you!

I can't wait to meet you guys. Hopefully before 2012 though....

Awesome pix of the Great Wall Jordan!! Afraid I wouldn't have made it !!!

There was an older gentleman coming down those monster stairs and i must've had a worried look on my face. He told me if he could do it so could I. He told me just to stop and rest every 10 or so steps which I did.

Jim, at least you won't be alone in celebrating! I think I'm older too. My birthday is in Feb.

The game is a doozy!

awesome photos from the Great Wall Jordan! :) I would love to get there one day!

It's a once in a lifetime experience.

Wow...the pictures of the great wall from a distance are just breath taking! It makes you feel a kind of reverance for the people who built it.

I can't believe you made it up the stairs.:worship: If I made it to the top, big if, I could be used as a slinky going down, because I know my legs wouldn't be working any longer.

I can't wait to see what your game for us is!

Good thing your fly wasn't down for this picture. That would have been really embarrasing.

HI JORDAN!!!! :hippie:

I had to get caught up. Scott works me like a dog over on Enchanted. :rotfl2:

I am sorry about the indecisive guys for your trip. Maybe they'll surprise you. Ya' never know.

I like your fuzzy Disney math. $80 for a couple of extra days - very nice work.

The pictures of the food were very interesting. I could handle the fruit. :) The Great Wall is mind boggling. I would love to see that in person one day.

I hope you have a good time next week!

WOW! your pictures are amazing Jordan! thanks for sharing them. :goodvibes
I cant wait to see what our game is going to be.
have a great time at camp. :thumbsup2

Well hello jordanyosh!

So I've seen you around on other people's TRs and clicked on to your PTR link... I just got through post #1 in viewing all of your pictures and I am already excited!!! You look like you're a very fun person. OK, I'm off to continue on reading...

GREAT pictures of the Great Wall - absolutely breathtaking!

Can't wait to hear about the game :)

I just got through it: WOW, GREAT pictures of China. Although some aspects there made me :scared: it still made me want to go.

That more secluded section of the Great Wall looks like a fun adventure, like something I would love doing. How did you hear about that spot?

That kind of sucks about those guys not knowing what they want, I hope they just let you know soon. I'm a fellow OTP so I can definitely understand how frustrating that can be, sorry. You look like a very fun person! And I could not believe it when you said you were nearing 50! You do not look like you're in your 40s... I'm shocked!

I'm in for more :)
