I actually miss work trips too. I used to travel all over the country to do troubleshooting for Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes and the Cheese. It was fun to explore different cities...

Solo trips are fun and super relaxing and rejuvenating.

did I know you had a pin for Jan/Feb?

Probably not....I kind of dismissed it out of hand when it arrived but it's been lingering in my mind. I did price a few things out but it really depends on the job sit, would need a couple of things to pop on the current one or take the plunge elsewhere. It's unlikely but...you never know!

It expires 11/30 though so....

I think I miss all the miles I was racking up as much as anything!

Well you have 26 more days for the PIN....There used to be an active DIS group on here and they go every October and meet up. Ive tried to go both years. It's just hard to get time off.....

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time Cherie. I have a bad cold and I even made a snot bubble. I woke up the kids because I was laughing and coughing they thought I was dying. Thanks for taking the time to type all this out it made my day.

Oh me too... my uncle is a minister and you know I had to send these his way.... I tried to read them aloud to my aunt but i was laughing so hard she couldn't understand me anymore.

Sorry you have been having a hard time right now Jordan... It seems that this time of year brings so many changes and many of the hard times we go through is just the growing pains of what will become of it. God has it all planned out and answered, this is just the "how" getting done.

Jordan, I am so sorry you're going through such a rough time with the job. Don't think I've ever read so many wonderfully supportive posts....and all said so well.

Congrats on having your trip almost paid - that makes it look like a sure thing!

It is possible that God is telling you to take the job - and that would be a trajectory change for you - but the bottom line...I guess...is to go with what you know He is telling you to do. Beg Him to close doors to help you decide. He will. He wants us to follow Him. He tries to make it easy - even though it seems so hard to us at the time. I wish He would just write it down! It took me years to learn how to hear His voice. To know that "feeling" is real. It took many bad decisions to know - opps, I sensed His voice but didn't listen and several good decisions to know that I had sensed His voice and now look what cool thing happened.

Awesome advice. I agree totally with asking God to close doors and open the ones he wants open. I pray that all the time. God says, if we trust Him with all our hearts and don't lean on our own understanding He will direct our paths. Ask Him to make His way revealed to you. I know you will be fine Jordan.

This just TOTALLY cracks me up... where you say you were laughing so hard she couldn't understand you... I love it when you hear a joke so funny that you can't stop laughing when you're trying to retell it... ha ha ha. And the person listening is all, "What?! What??? Tell me what's so funny!" and you can't get through it...

but undoubtedly, you end up thinking it's way more funny than them because once you tell it, they're all..."Uh... oh, ok..." and you're all, "What? You didn't think that was the funniest joke ever????"

Good luck making the job decision. I was in a similar dilemma when I was offered an amazing internship position. So, I reluctantly took the internship and rescheduled my trip. I'm glad I did because the internship was the most amazing experience ever and my trip was still awesome when I eventually found the time to take it! Everything will all be okay in the end. If it's not okay then it's not the end!

I could not have survived the last few years w/o my friends here.

I'm so glad it's almost paid! I'm picking up some extra work to make sure I can keep saving money especially during the Xmas season.

Okay Feb is still on for me BUT great news Christine can come too !!!So now it looks like we will be staying at POFQ for the same # of nights but with 2 of us it will be cheaper than just "MOI' at Pop!!! So now Cherie can that ressie be for 4 ????? Please let me know !!
