i don't think you will have an issue when you do it as long as you call first thing in the morning. the reason it's so bad today is because today they are going back to 180-day ADRs. so in other words, everyone that is trying to make reservations from 90 days out to 180 days out is doing it TODAY. that's 90 days worth of guests making their dining reservations at the same time. i can't believe they didn't see this coming!

I was able to get less than half of my ADR's online. I had the other's but when I went to "check out" the system crashed again and I LOST THEM ALL!!! I AM BEYOND IRRITATED BY THIS POINT. The phones are all down. I haven't been able to get a "ring" or a busy signal. Just an annoying mans voice saying it's "down".

I've been trying since 5am central time. Got dressed, brought the kiddo to school, did some room mom stuff, and all the while kept trying for ADR's in between. Now I have been sitting here for an hour and a half and I have 3 ADR's and I lost the rest.

i stopped trying online for that very reason.

so sorry cherie. believe me i feel your pain, although i'm too tired to feel it right now

4:14am. It rang!!!!!!!! Only to say circuits are busy. Now they're just toying with me.

I can't help but laugh, Jordan.

4:25am. I'm going to lay down now for a bit. I'm still calling just doing it from a different position.

While I was still in my ambien induced coma, you were busy!!

I decided not to get up early for adr's because I don't really have any that are hard to get.

ok, so I slept right through my phone alarm.

It's good to know I didn't miss anything but frustration.

Ok, so I still haven't been able to get those last several reservations. The system is totally down and has been for over an hour. The travel agent one too. I also called the special number for travel agents and they ALMOST got me ONE of my ressie's before their system just crashed too.

I still have never been able to make the "regular" dining reservation phone line actually ring.

I think this is a lost cause. I will go run errands now and try again LATER.

Hmmmm....Teppan Edo and a few others always are on the fence until the last minute. I remember that for our last trip in 08. TE has just been remodeled and it wasn't known until the very end of December whether it was going to be on the DDP...I should go check my old PTR. I think we talked about it.

Continued good luck Cherie. I hope you can get through at some point today. It's definitely been frustrating.
