Chapter 39. ADRs live!
3:03am. I'm in but it's taking awhile..i'm trying to make my first ADR right now.
3:06am. It's still trying to process my first request.
3:07am. Here's what the system is telling me:
Sorry, our system is currently experiencing high volume and we were unable to process your request. Please try again. If you receive this response several times, please try returning at a later time.
Ha! That's a surprise.
308am. Trying again
3:09am. Processing again.
3:14am. Still processing the 1st request.
3:15am. Keeps repeating same "high volume" message.
3:17am. Processing again
3:22am. Trying to process again.
3:26am. It looks like everyone crashed the system because this is what it says now:
Our site is currently down for maintenance. Please try back later.
3:30am. Now it says the system is currently unavailable. I am now a bit upset. It's early enough as it is for folks on the East Coast. but it's
3:30am on a work day!
3:34am. I guess I'll go iron my clothes for work today....
3:39am. okay. Iron's hot.
3:43am. Ironing done.
3:51am. Checking the refrigerator for a snack
3:53am. Nothing good. Plus I had a late dinner....
3:58am. counting down...til the phones open...
3:58am. I'm so sleepy.....
4:00am. Called twice. All circuits busy. I'm not even getting through.
4:02am. Calling multiple time. Calls not getting through. I think I'm getting a stomach ache.
4:07am. I'm getting either "the call did not go through" or "all circuits are busy"
4:09am. Been up for over an hour. trying to decide now whether to get a few hours of sleep now and try again in a few hours....
4:14am. It rang!!!!!!!! Only to say circuits are busy. Now they're just toying with me.
4:25am. I'm going to lay down now for a bit. I'm still calling just doing it from a different position.
4:58am. I'm sleepy and may take a nap for an hour......
5:18am. Can't sleep. a few people are getting through....
5:47am. Going to the throne. I might be awhile. Again you know men and the throne...
5:54am. I'm back. Did I call while I was on the potty? You betcha.
5:55am. I am now just getting the busy signal. I wonder if people are giving up or going to work?
6:00am. Over 3 hours since this all started. Just a little frustrating, but expected. Now I'm getting hungry...going to check the refrigerator again.
6:05am. Mmmm...cold pizza and warm Coke....
6:20am. 20 minute cat nap.....
8:00am. i guess i needed to sleep. i just got up.
i"m in!!!! 25 minute wait.

8:15am. Still hearing the wondering Disney music....I silently think to myself "I'm going to be late for work if I don't start getting ready"
8:17am. Thank goodness I'm on my cell. I put it on speaker phone and take it the bathroom. I brush my teeth. I gargle. Then I think...."Do I have enough time to take a shower? Will I hear the phone? What if I have to answer the phone sopping wet and/or nekked?" I decide to give the phone to my roommate, Jean. She gives me this fearful face like "what am I going to do if they come on?" I tell her to get me in the shower if they come on..
8:20am. I hop in the shower and take the fastest shower. Shampoo. Rinse and I'm out. I dry off. Dress. shave and gel my hair. Right when I'm done. The CM comes on the line.......(never got his name)

My mom is heading up to Portland tomorrow to be with my aunt at the hospital - they will be visiting the body then. Please pray for healing for Micah and strength for my aunt and my mom. Thank you.
