Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

NO, but it's -20 C out, so we bring them in about 3 times a day to give them a warm up and feed them. It's just so cold out they can't go out of their doggy house for exercise AT ALL. Poor little things.
ohh, poor puppies

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

They used to have an attraction where American Idol is now called Superstar Television where they picked people to recreate famous scenes from TV shows. One of the scenes was the Lucy and Ethel scene at the candy factory...soooo funny. Wendy was actually chosen and did a great job.

I've been called Lucy a few times in my life...

Ahhh, the memories. I remember that fondly.

and I love "I love Lucy".... so classic and such great comedy :lmao:

Lucy's got such great comedic timing and execution... they don't make shows like that anymore... so sad. :sad2:

You should share your starring role in Superstar Television..:thumbsup2

Great idea! Now if I can just make it TSA proof... :confused3 I"ve heard of liquors getting pilfered and vanishing into thin air.
Of this I have no doubt. I'm thinking you should do what Tammy does and wrap them in T-shirts. Personally, I would take it one step further and take packing tape and tape all the way around the t-shirts. Maybe with all the trouble they would have to go through they won't take it. :confused3 JAT

Or some girlfirends who are up for some food adventure. Still looking for TC3 Adventurerers. :confused3;)
Ooooh, I would love to! I know I won't be able to swing it that close to having already been there just a few months before hand. I sooo appreciate the invite, I've read some wonderful things about Maroo, I would really look forward to a trip with you two involved. If you two are any clue to how the others are going on the trip, I know I would have a great time. You are going to try and be there for the Peeps Fest in 2012, right? If your not I'm going to come to where ever you are and pack you in my suit case, I know you can fit, I've seen pictures of you. :) and after your gall bladder surgery I know for sure I can fold you in without worry.

too bad I'm eating alone.
:guilty: Awww. Now you have to find someone to eat with you, any takers?

I am a safe eater. I usually don't stray too much from chicken or steak even at the more "exotic" places at WDW. It's hard to mess up chicken or steak and if you do, it's more about how long it was cooked at not the spices used-at least for me. Occasionally i will try something different. At CA Grill, they have a great pork tenderloin....

You sound like me, I'm always afraid to try something new or out of my comfort zone of what I usually eat. Well, the truth is I like to try things, I'm just concerned I'll end up with a plate of something I won't like. Buffets are great for this, there's bound to be at least one thing I will like.

I wish DHS had better Counter Service Restaurants.

Amen! I wonder why they haven't gotten the clue on this one. MK, Epcot, AK, they all have great CS's, so why not DHS??? We eat the latest brunch time we can at 1900 Park Fare to avoid eating CS in DHS, I have planned out of the park eating even for our dinner those two nights.

Okay there's a tornado warning in our area? what do i need to do. our satellite tv isn't working because the rain is so heavy....
I'm originally from Kansas so I know a couple of things. ;)
I wish I had been on here when you asked this. Sorry Jordy. Are you on the top floor of your Apt. complex? If you are, you should bug a down stairs neighbor or bust through the door, and no I'm not joking. Slightly open a couple of windows in the apartment and then go to the inner most room or bathroom, even if it doesn't have a tub in it, the pipes for a toilet and sink go all the way into the ground so if your haning on to the pipes your better off. Always make sure you put your shoes on, and I don't mean your flip flops Jordy, you need to be able to walk over or kick your way out of anything incase it does hit. I'm not trying to scare you, but this is a matter of your safety. I don't want you to be unsafe. In the future have a radio that you can put batteries in, we keep some batteries in our freezer, this way they don't go bad. The new IPods have a radio incase you were thinking about getting a new one, and they don't require headphones either. I think having an incase bag is good, can goods are good, along with a first aid, can opener and a rain pancho or two, as well as a change of clothes, a couple of zip locs and plastic grocery bags (that is if California hasn't outlawed them yet) for wet items or incase you need to keep things dry. I would stick my change of clothes inside a zip loc and anything else you want to stay dry. I knew we could get you to pack your clothes in them sooner or later! You probably have an earthquake kit so take that with you as well, some of what I've mentioned will already be in there. I can't think of anything else. Oh and take a thick comforter or two with you to cover up with, if you can't or don't think of it then grab a small mattress to cover yourself with. Under stairs are also good, stairs and bathrooms seem to be some of the only things standing in the worst hit homes. Hopefully you'll never have to use this info. :upsidedow

This makes me laugh as my father is like that too. No matter what time of the day it is, he thinks it's a good time to watch the weather channel. When he eats, when he sleeps, when he wakes up. I think he even checks it wirelessly from the bathroom. I know you think I'm kidding....I'm not! And guess what the best part is....he passed it on to his first born daughter. My husband is less than thrilled.
 My dad is the exact same way, he always has it on in the mornings, we use to tease him and call the weather channel, old people's MTV. :rotfl:

Glad it's gone. Tornado warnings are scary. I remember a couple of years ago in Maryland, all of a sudden I started hearing the sirens wailing on base. I had never heard them before. Turned on the news and there was a tornado spotted in the area. Talk about freaking out!

Th weatheer is different in your restroom:confused3:lmao:
:lmao: Rose, your a stinker.

Mission Accomplished, but Dr Pepper.. precious liquid gold that should never be wasted by spewing....spew into a cup and re-drink...:rolleyes1

Mmmmm, spewed and redrunk D.P.
Rare to find a D.P drinker in Cali., out in my neck of the woods yes, and where I'm originally from, but not usually in Cali. When I lived there it was so hard to find on tap in restaurants, it was usually nasty Mr.Pibb :crazy2: is it still the same?

surprisingly jalapenos do not have an adverse effect on me...beans, yes. red onions, YES. Dairy, YES.....
I had problems with all of these things when I had a diseased gall bladder with a stone in it the size of a pecan.

It's a combo trip report notes/future trip notes. I notate against my planned itinerary what actually happened, so I can adjust for future trips--at least in theory. As you can see, I didn't really look back at my notes until I had already written several drafts of my itinerary, but better late than never.
:laughing:I love being on the DIS!! Only other people who keep their last itinerary understand why you keep yours. My family just laughs at me for keeping all that old information. Once I had thought all my park maps were thrown out ...... it was not a pretty couple of hours for me. My sister thought I was joking at first, now she really knows how seriously I take it.

You're entirely welcome!! The more the merrier we say. The TC3 Adventure is one to be noted in the record books, for sho!!! :dance3:

I am seriously going to try to plan on going for Peepfest, but we'll have to see where the cookie crumbles on that one. Life is full of WAY too many changes for me right now, to look that far out.

HA! My arm flab will scream from all the squishing, I'm sure! But a very happy woman I was when I just had to send 2 pair of capris back from half way around the world to exchange them from 6's to size 4's. I think they've been jacking with the sizes honestly! :lmao: Cuz, this 40-something year old toosh does NOT look like it did pre-5 kids. :rotfl2:

I like your new plans. Getting up at 10 is so much more appealing than 8.
The food at Everything Pop looks good. Is it better than some of the other resort CS? I was NOT impressed with Captain Cooks at all.

As you can see, the biggest change is the start time of my day. Instead of a rise/shine time of 8am, I changed it to a 10am up time.

GOOD CALL!! Enjoy the sleep!!

Tornado Warning! In what was a first for me, I experienced a tornado warning in CALIFORNIA. It never happens here or very rarely. I was watching the news and they issued a warning. I look outside and it starts raining harder and harder. Then the satellite TV goes out. It gets windy and then it REALLY starts coming down. The news reporter lady had actually said to go to your basement....We don't have basements in CA. The weatherman also said to go into the bathtub. I went into the interior hallway for about 5 minutes, but got bored. My roommate called and she had heard about the warning....I reported everything was okay. It was all over in about 45 minutes. I put a coffee cup outside just to see how much it rained today. It rained about 2 inches in those 45 minutes..it was nuts! Lots of street flooding and minor mudslides-nothing major yet. Although the 710 fwy is closed going north.
EDIT: it's rained about 2.5-3 inches here in 48 hours. Alot for the desert that SoCal really is.

Wow... that is how I felt when we got an earthquake in Indiana a few years ago. I was completely intrigued... not scared. It's kind of exciting when something that's NOT supposed to happen where you live, happens. (Well, as long as no one gets hurt, right?)

You were wishing for rain... I guess you got it!! I'm glad to hear you didn't blow away in a tornado! I hope the rain that is still to come doesn't cause too many problems for you.

Your revised itinerary looks good to me! :thumbsup2 I think you made some smart changes.

OMG....i see that you updated yesterday and i had to go back FIVE pages to find the update. geez!!!

did i really just use the term OMG? what am i? 14?

i think it's wise to learn from your past experiences. it stinks about cancelling some stuff but at least you won't be stressed out and exhausted at the end of your trip! oh, and i hear good things about mara.

that's crazy! glad it turned out to be nothing. we get them here all the time between march and june. actually year-round but that's the really bad time. i've been known to be sitting on the floor in my laundry room (the most internal room in the house with no windows) with our guest bedroom mattress leaning on the washer with me sitting under it and with both dogs on a leash next to me while our town's tornado alarm is going off. i'm sure you can picture it.

I think I need a picture to fully appreciate the situation..;)

Update on the itenirary looks good, Jordan.

Also glad the tornado didn't get you. We live in Denver and while we get the warnings and watches all the time, we have yet to have one touch down near us. Thank goodness. :D

Jordy, I hope you, Wendy and family are weathering the weather OK. I just broke my not watching news ban to see if your floating away out there, and it doesn't look good. But then again it's not like the news stations to try and over exaggerate something just to get watchers to stay glued to the t.v. or anything.
Please let us know your not seeing Noah's Ark floating by any time soon. :thumbsup2
