Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

Oh and since I was speechless after reading your dropping a dookie story I completely spaced on your youthful restlessness.

Don't do it.

Eat like a king and save the trip bucks. Besides, you still have to buy some shoes!

You have such LOVELY ADR's! You have a nice long trip, well planned, well budgeted, well thought out.

It's all good.

GUD.

just my 2 cents (which is really worth a big fat nothing since I am the queen of over analyzing things to death!).

Please ignore the bags under my eyes....it was 11:40 pm.

I finally have my pictures uploaded and will be starting my TR soon. Taken on our first night, December 26, on our first ride. :goodvibes

Please excuse me for hijacking your thread Jordan, but I have a confession to make that I know my Dis friends will understand. For Christmas my parents arranged for family photos of each family, in addition to a huge family photo with the entire family (15 of us total with spouses and grand kids.) My older sister decreed that we should all wear red, black, or white and under NO circumstances was I to wear ANYTHING Disney. :confused3

So right before we went to the studio, she even checked me, including my ears to make sure I didn't sneak in earrings that were Mickey shaped. :scared1:

Here is the photo of my little family:

Welllllll, she needs some work on her Hidden Mickey spotting! :lmao:

I am wearing my oh so subtle Mickey Mouse scarf that I purchased last September. I took a closeup of the scarf so you can see the Mickey's but she didn't spot them and I'm not telling!!! :woohoo:

I'm sure you, my fellow "Disfreaks" as my husband affectionately calls us, understand my joy and my need to tell, right? :thumbsup2

.

Phooey on her! You looked great! I love your family picture, and I have a feeling that you smiled just a weeeee bit more because of your scarf. I love it!

Happy New Year to you Tammie!

How was TX?

I'm just glad you're back!

Wendy's dad is in alot of pain according to my mom who saw him yesterday. The pain is not allowing him to sleep well which isn't good since he is already weak. Pray for the pain to decrease enough for him to rest.

The kilt.....:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Texas was great! Warm and sunny most of the time, and we did Sea World, River Walk, the Zoo, the boys took in a Spurs game, and of course Chuck E Cheese!!! We miss those grandkids so much already! And thanks for the

I will definately be praying for your uncle's pain to subside, and for good rest for him. Can they give him something stronger for pain at night?

Jordan,
I found your TR (Hot Sweaty Asian TR I, II AND III) last year and had a blast reading it! I'm one of those lurkers who only pops out of hiding once or twice a year to ask a question, but I just had to tell you how fab I think your TR trilogy and this PTR is! YOU ROCK!!! :woohoo:

Now don't misunderstand, because I'm the most married woman in the state of Florida, but how is it possible that you haven't been snatched up and hitched yet? You truly are cute as a button, obviously good w/children, love your momma, love Jesus, love WDW and you're hilarious to boot. Quite the catch! :thumbsup2

My family (me, DH, 4 offspring and ILs) are going to DW Jan. 26-29 and I'm soooo stoked!:cool1: I'm not as cool or well-spoken as you so I don't know if I'll ever write a trip report, but I want you to know how much your efforts are appreciated. This past year has been crazy for so many people in our country and many a hard day I've come on the Dis and read your PTR and you really lifted my spirits, so thank you very much!

peace,
MaryPat
party::welcome:party:

Thanks for the kind words. I just provide the thread and all my buddies just unleash. I join in once in awhile.;)

I'm single by choice. I've had several single women ask their friends about me, but I enjoy being single. I've only been in LOVE, real love, once. I blew my chance with her and really haven't been the same since. I'm vain...I know I look good in my new shoes...:rolleyes1

Sounds like you had a great time:thumbsup2

He's now taking 2 vicodin at night and that seems to be doing the trick. I can't imagine taking 2. I took one at a time after my appendix was removed. I was OUT.

Dude! I think I just blew a nasal cavity trying to surpress the burst of laughter that was attempting to erupt. CLASSIC!

Never actually launched a scud in my britches, but I have had some near misses. I hear you on the preassure...that's when you don't even have to flush...you just shoot it straight down the pipes.

Good luck on the whole changing fever. (You may be able to help fight those urges by giving the monorail safety annoumncement every time you start your car and taking pictures of everything you eat.).

OMG, this is why this thread is so hilarious.... SOOOO funny... even the responses to funny stories are funny themselves....

Now *I* almost blew a nasal cavity... ha ha ha.

:scared1::scared1::scared1:
There are no words.

There weren't any then either, just alot of grunting....

I know what you mean about the planning changing plans, etc. :rotfl2: I've tried my best to not do that too much this time. I've just got so many other things going on leading up to the trip.

29 left!!

I've resisted the temptation so far.

That's a totally acceptable bodily response to tax day.

true.

On the (potential) plan changes -- what ADRs would you possibly have to drop?

You may go back to the Boardwalk area after this trip, but I think you'll be glad you tried Kidani.

I would drop Jiko, Flying Fish, Brown Derby and Sanaa...

I know I will enjoy AKV

:rotfl2: Something I never thought I would read on the Dis. :rotfl2:

I never thought I would do that in my pants.

I think that dookie story is probably one of the funniest that I have ever heard. I think that I am going to love this thread :lmao:

I am a single parent of DS11 (12 in Feb) and DD9 (10 in Feb) so I do everything (except for their chores of course) around the house. The way that it works out my kids go see their dad the weekend before we leave so that weekend will be packing time. I am not quite sure on the details of pulling off the surprise just yet but I have a little time for that. I know what they like and don't like and I am such a control freak when it comes to planning it's my way anyway:lmao: I made some really great ADRs and I am soooo excited for this trip - I am going to have such a hard time keeping it quiet!

It sounds better when I'm able to give you the visual gestures as well.

Good luck with the surprise.

Your screenname, Poohlove, is quite appropriate for the last update.

that's how I do it too. It works well with my control issues.;)

the only down side is I'm still packing for my 16 yr old....you just can't trust a teenage boy to bring enough clean chonies and socks.
Ain't it the truth. Naa actually Tyler is pretty good about what he packs, but I do make the kids lay out what they think they want to take so I can see what they are actually taking and then I can add or take away as needed. There's more than one way to skin a cat, that's Texas for...this is how I get my control freak on.

nothing gets past me....I"m sharp as a plastic spoon.:thumbsup2
Would that be a regular spoon, or a spork? ;)

Okay..your story blew my theory that secretly you were that woman astronaut that drove to FL in depends to harass her ex-lover's new chic... :lmao:
Do you sit and think of these or do you just have them in your back pocket ready to zing them out just when you think you'll make me pee my pants most??? Just sayin. :rotfl2:

AWWWWW crap.. it's tax day!

That was a classic post! I love it! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Oh! Now that was classic!!! :lmao:

Now that was a laugh outloud slaptastic post! The part about the pressure and not needing to flush....:rotfl2:

I get to be the photographer/security fighter...:lmao:
Deal! :thumbsup2 Isn't this a great idea though? I think this would be so funny.

Thank you Bruce!! She's right Jordy, eat well and save the money. I seriously want to see the new shoes you end up with, I do have some stock in this after all. ;)

You forgot to say "but make sure you are not actually DRINKING the coffee while listening to this story..." (and actually, even holding a hot cup of coffee is probably not advised either...)

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Oh Great! NOOOW you warn me! Oh well...........the redness does go away right? :confused3
I've said it before....I'm so excited for you all going on your trip coming up in 30 days!!! :woohoo: :yay:

As I was reading your "dookie" post my hands flew up to my face and I sharply inhaled before I started cracking up :lmao:, Bill kept saying "what? WHAT IS IT?" I said " I can't even read it outloud". He said "You must be reading Jordan's PTR again".

Even Bill who doesn't read on the DIS knows how it is on this thread :rotfl:.

I would drop Jiko, Flying Fish, Brown Derby and Sanaa...

:scared1::scared1: going back now to see what in tarnations I missed that would ellicit this outrageous and generally egregious behavioral response.

And I thought I was having trip issues...:guilty:

OK, back after reading the last update. Overplanning, over analyzing, and yes, I get it, no lapses in planning- it's an unforgiveable thing no self-respecting DISser would ever do. But, Jordan, I"m going with Cynthia here. You've planned out a lovely trip. Your plans look great, esp. your ADRs. Just have fun with the PTR to keep your "planning" fixes coming.

Finally, FINALLY, I tell you, my fishy smelling guests are gone!! Freedom- Gotta love that!

Anywho, I have my DISsing time and computer back all to myself!! Let the kookiness begin!

There's usually some good outhouse discussions on Liesa's thread too.

Why thank you. Thank you very much! We do love our outhouses over here.

yeah...I pooped my pants...:rolleyes1:eek::scared1:

and something or other about where TP is thrown..;)

Or not thrown. That is equally paramount, my friend!

Is that awful or nice.....;)

I hear Urumqi is sort NOT nice. Very bleak, not much to see, and nowadays, you can't even get a visa to go there. Too many Uighur uprisings. I just can't understand why a people group of several million would be upset about not having their own rightful homeland back??!!:confused3

that's how I do it too. It works well with my control issues.;)

the only down side is I'm still packing for my 16 yr old....you just can't trust a teenage boy to bring enough clean chonies and socks.

Control issues?? Surely not you, Cherie... ;)

I'm lucky if my own 19 year old packs any of that "essential stuff". Game Boy, DS, CDs, movies?? Check. No problem! Undies, not a chance. :lmao:

nothing gets past me....I"m sharp as a plastic spoon.:thumbsup2

There's that plastic spoon but again! I have not a clue why that is so incredibly funny to me!! :rotfl2:

Hey Wendy, thanks so much for the welcome! Sure, I crack alot of people up, but I embarrass my kids (5, 14, 16, & 19) sometimes. I'm a little different. :upsidedow

I'm sure you DO look good in your new shoes! Rock those new shoes, work 'em, get your strut on with your new shoe self! :cool1:

Regarding single-dom: see, I love being married & I'm one of those women who believes her husband would be totally lost without her so I'm constantly trying to marry off singles. It's good to be happily single! But..... if another 'right' woman wanders into your life, watch out!!!! :rotfl: Yep, sounds like you've had a run in with it--real love is pretty earth-shaking.

On another note, with that dookie story now out on the world wide web, how will you ever run for president? Congress or the senate you could probably still pull off, they're all about slinging a little s***...

I'm jazzed about your upcoming trip, and a little envious. Wish I could pull off going longer, but taking a party of six is pricy. We're going to one, yes one TS meal at 50's Prime Time and doing the rest CS meals. DH & I are being taken to see LaNouba by DH's parents, so that's really exciting. So anyway, live it up for the rest of us! DH and I were talking about our trip last night and I remembered that *I* get to introduce DSMIL to Off Kilter, yes! She's gonna LOVE them, can't wait to see her reaction. Ok, peace out!:goodvibes
