And you know I am a Cowboys fan but I do have to say...Geaux Saints! Just not this week. (Being a Cowboys fan in December is becoming an awful lot like being a Texas Rangers fan after the all-star break. Which probably only made sense to Biscuit, if anyone, but oh well.)

All to well. Been a Rangers fan ALMOST as long I've been a Cowboys fan. (I got to see Nolan Ryan pitch several times back when I was in high school.) It's certainly somthing that builds one's coping skills. And teaches you the importance of living with unmet needs.

Interestsing discussion on the radio yesterday morning: What would be better? The Cowboys botch the rest of the games, miss the playoffs and we get rid of Wade Phillips & write the season off OR they squeak into the playoffs and lose in the first round AGAIN?

Tough call. I don't think Phillips survives the off season either way so I'm all for winning as many games as possible.

Of course losing would help us in the draft...

Since this subject was brought up again....I finally got around to counting how many LGMHs I nabbed (I guess I have driven far enough to safely stop and count them without fear of Home Depot security pulling up beside me while I'm doing so). Anyway, I got, are you ready for this?......

I just read it, Melissa! I would react the same way. I always grab the brochure, act like I'm comparing all the colors, look through the brochure, stash a few, look and stash, put some in the brochure.... I don't think we'll get arrested for stealing free samples!

Cowboys have had much the same journey as the Niners-my fave team.

Once great, they haven't come close to their former glory. Niners just need to be a .500 team this season and I'll be happy.

you never know.....they are weird about that kinda stuff. a couple years ago my sister's boyfriend wanted to buy a figurine for me and have "dawny-pants" put on it and they wouldn't do it. they said they couldn't put a "suggestive" name on anything. he said, "what part of dawny-pants is suggestive?" the girl just told him it was against their policy.

by the way, dawny-pants is just what he calls me because he's weird.

i think it would be hilarious though! just make sure everyone has a spare shirt to throw on just in case.

First of all, not that he needs any more pimpin', but FauntleroyFan Dan has started his PTR:

Next on the agenda: I have to come clean. I am pretty sure now that Home Depot is NOT discontinuing the Mickey Heads....OOPS.

I went to 2 more Home Depots yesterday and noticed they have both the paint sample strips like every other paint brand AND they have Mickey Heads as well. I don't think I ever noticed it before, but it seems that they have had always had both by the way the plastic holder is made....Guess I'm not very observant.

I guess I'll be writing a letter to Home Depot apologizing for all the crazy people who have been descending on their stores. I would kill to see all the videos! DISers Caught On Tape-Home Depot Style!

Again, I apologize for sending ripples of terror on this little corner DIS.

I need some advice:

I've been thinking about my intinerary. I have 12 full days and a 10 day ticket. I can do the Give a Day, Get a Day to pick up an extra day, but I don't know if I can git'er'done before the trip. I currently have the Water Park and More add on. However, given the unpredictability of weather during the winter months, Typhoon Lagoon may not end up working out. I can switch things around on the fly if there ends up being a warm day on a day that I have something else scheduled. That said, I may have a day or two where I can't go into the parks.

One of those days would be while I'm among the family/friends and the other day would be during my solo portions.

Suggestions?

Has anyone ever done peewee golf? I think you get one free admission w/ the package.
Spa? Which one is the best?
Movie?
How about something different? Wendy and Derek sent me on a photo scavenger hunt once....

As for your 12 days with a 10 day pass...I would just spend the extra day relaxing at your resort or exploring other ones. At least for me, I feel like I am always rushing and don't slow down to enjoy the little details really. A break from the parks might be nice. I've always wanted to go for a long time and do park days but then have days to relax.

It's so exciting!! 50 days!!!

Thanks Jordy!...I'll probably be put into Home Depot jail the next time I shop there and child protective services will probably be banging on my door any day now so they can interview me to see if I'm a fit parent, but other than that!..... Although....I did get a life time supply of MHPC's! I don't think I'll be running out any time soon.

I'd say take your resort hopping day on the day they all leave. A good time to wind down and enjoy the "alone-ness".

Do you really think it'd be taht hard to squeeze in the Give/Get day?? There ought to be plenty of opps. during the 'season'. Might give you a little flex if you need it, or the water park thing doesn't work out.
