We ended up hitting another Home Depot and by the end of the night, our results were very fruitful....wanna see?!?!

This is my beautiful daughter Mackenzie holding the loot (although she's not looking her best here-she looks like she has bead head), and to make the picture more perfect, she was doing the Jordie tongue without me ever telling her about it or even asking her to! I love it!

Tongue happens.

All of this because Jordie mentions that they are doing away with MHPC's. Pathetic I realize, but a lot of fun. I think my daughter thought I had forgotten how to have fun, so this was a great mission....the mission of mother and daughter having a good time together. Titled: Freedom Mickey. Do you think you can guess how many there are? Maybe Jordie will allow me to do a little contest.

so was ray. when i met him (in 1993) he ironed everything before he'd wear it, including his boxers. seriously. the first time i met him he had just came from church and was eating at a restaurant i was hostessing at. the girl that was hostessing with me knew him and told him she liked his tie. all he said was, "it's polo." i thought....what a dork!!!

Polo ties...those were the days.

Ironing boxers...that's just nuts.

That's funny, some of the guys in our group are better. I just got a FB mail with a riot of a pic from 8th grade. I am grateful he didn't post it and tagged me but emailed it instead.

Jeff was dying when he saw it and I'm like DUDE, you had a BAD moustache and miami vice hair and a members only jacket and parachute pants. You are not allowed to dis the high waist San Fransicso Riding Gear!

Complete with the Fair Isle sweater tucked in and bad Farrah hair.

Man it looks uncomfortable just looking at it!



I love the Sally Jesse glasses, very le chic.

I don't know what was worse, 70s clothes are 80s clothes. I'd say preppy was okay to look back on because it really hasn't changed much, but the other stuff..OY!

Home Depot's largest ever robbery was pulled off by a mother /daughter team !! Caught on video were Mrs Mille and her daughter as they stealthily stole every LIME GREEN paint chip in the store !!
Due to the severity of the crime the two are being held without bail !!
Home Depot spokesman says the store has been losing Paint chips for years and they are glad the rascally duo have been brought to justice !!

It's all gonna trace back to me.

Jordan, I think I had those EXACT same glasses in 1990! They looked super-rad with my Cavaricci jeans and my I.O.U sweatshirts.

Oh - dig the silver luggage! Where'd you pick that up? We could use a new wheelie bag.

I had them for 1 more year and went wire frame......

The Delsey luggage was purchased at a luggage store. It was actually the best price I saw for them at any store. I think I could've gotten them cheaper online though.

well i thought i did good but once i saw your bag i am a little ashamed of myself.

i was going to town picking them out, we get to the car, and i unload my pocket the wife says holy cow you got all those, i said yep in "that" pocket

i unload the other pocket and she just starts laughing

when i got home we ended up with 357, but your bag looks alot bigger than ours, so i am guessing you ended up with about 525


i will post a picture of ours when the TR starts

and i was nice, i did not even clear out all of the slots i left at least 1/2 of them in each one.

the lady was even behind me the whole time filling paint and was none the wiser,

it helps i was able to positiion my body to block her view, the only time i was vurnerable was when i reached for teh top shelf


there is some great response to teh surveys so far, and every possible choice has a vote so far, there is one clear leader at the moment, but it is still close enough that anyone of the top three choices can still win it.

Can't wait to see the winning title.

Also, 357? Crazy. To the FBI unit reading this...it wasn't me.

I was just bemoaning the loss of my 80's Bennetton sweaters last night. I had quite the army of them and boy would they have been perfect for the ugly sweater party I was at! Instead we were all upstaged by my 10 year old nephew in a size 6x girls hooded sweater with a donkey on the front. It was a touch call between him and 2 of our finest local police in "bedazzled" sweaters.

Polo Rugby's were the only way to fly though, wish I had them now too for that matter. I do have 2 polo sweatshirts that I still have from those days. I think you could fit 3 people in them. It kills me how oversized everthing was.

Bennetton....are they still around?

This was my favorite part....the fact that you drove away for a little while and then stopped to see your haul.

When I made my heist I only went after the lime-green, and only took about half of the stack. I don't know if I have a guilty conscience or am just an amateur at this kind of thing. I thought about putting them in my pocket, but was more afraid of "eyes in the sky" seeing me stuffing things in my pockets, so decided it was just better to hold onto them and walk out. I was trying to think of what I'd say if somebody stopped me. I know I'd say, "I just have some paint chips". But I never came up with an acceptable answer to the next, obvious question of "why do you need so many"? Fortunately for me it never came to that!

I feel like I'm stealing so i usually only take a few.

They have cameras EVERYWHERE.

Love all the pictures, especially the older ones!!!!!!! Great stuff.

I can see now that I'm going to have to take another trip to HD. I got a bundle last time I went so that I can make a countdown calendar around 30 days.

Make that trip soon.

I'm glad you liked my Romeo Kitty Boy picutures. He's the newest member of our family, we just took him in right before Thanksgiving, and he's stolen my heart. He's actually my daughter's cat, but I secretly make him mine when she's not around. He loves that tree skirt! I don't know what it is about that Christmas tree skirt but that's what he seems to be drawn to lay on, I think he just loves laying under the tree, just like we did when we were little kids.
He really does try and be careful, bless his little heart, but I think he's after my own heart and just wants to be as close to The Lord as he can.

He's very cute! I miss having a furry pet, once Piper started having more lung issues that pretty much went out of the picture. She does have 3 hermit crabs..but it is not exactly the same..lol. I really had no idea but got curious. There was one in Boston back in '06...I know because I bought a sweater there on an il-fated Feb business trip where I FROZE and ended up buying a new coat and hat in NYC and then scarf, gloves and sweater in Boston. I remember being shocked that it still existed.

Nothing you didn't pack that can't be bought.

I admit, I still really like the sweater...it's argyle.



My rugby was white, blue and red. Of course I could never get the color to lay flat...

I confess to buying Eric a blue and yellow striped one a few years back for my own nostalgia!

Loved those rugbys (rugbies?) with the wide stripes. I worked at an Applebee's in college and I actually LIKED my waitress uniform - striped rugby and khaki pants.

I have to agree on the silver, I have a Kenneth Cole silver bag. It is GREAT for picking out at baggage claim but man is it dirty! Red is just as bad through and more common.

Me too! Kept the wire frames for about 8 years then went to the plastic sort cat-eye shape. Wore those until I got lasik last year. Yay, no more specs for me!
