I think Peter may be having a dookie moment of his own.

That seems like a pretty hefty budget if you've prepaid for the DDP for both parts but some of your TS is OOP, right?
We spent 1000 OOP on top of the DDP last year but that included an awful lot of extra's like MSB, Spa and SeaRaycers plus tips and drinks. We had one meal OOP but that was it. I don't include my garden grocer order in my budget as it was about my weekly grocery budget if we'd been at home so I figure that just fit in there instead. But that was bascially for 6 nights and 6 days so....I dunno. Given our crap flight times that 7th night doesn't count and we lost 2 full days to travel. It doesn't include souvies though. I'm hoping to keep ours at 1K this trip not including OOP meals, groceries and souvies but I might be smoking crack!
$90 to upgrade from the QSDP isn't bad at all. I think the dining plan is so worth it. I HATE budgeting for food because I can't stick to a budget.
Did you budget for souvenirs?
Thanks for the info on Cali Grill. I'm thinking of adding that to the list for August.
First....love the pics.
Next... It looks like you've got it all figured out quite nicely. I agree about not canceling flying fish until you get closer to the day. You never know, you may be able to swing it.
"drunk fest arizona" hee hee![]()
Budget looks good, Jordan, but where's the money for souvenirs? (Tell me you buy souvenirs -- you do, don't you???)
Had to play catch-up! Your budget looks good to me, but being a spendthrift, and not having been to WDW for 20 yrs..take that as you will.. Woohoo for upgrading to DDP!
Love the before and after pics..and thankful there's no way to put sound in a message. Poor Piper finds it impossible to do her thing without sound effects which has resulted in some very funny facial expressions in public restrooms! I've tried coaching her not to make noise, but, doesn't work. I guess I should just be glad she doesn't have a thing about going in public restrooms since it seems a lot of people do. We'd be hauling butt *literally* home way tooooooo often if she did. (CF thing there with malabsorption..she scores at least 3-4 times daily.)
I'm with the other question askers..no souvenirs?
LOL at the pictures Jordan...those were too funny!!!
Budget is looking good!!! I hope you'll be able to make it to the Flying Fish I have heard great reviews of the restaurant!
FYI if you ever need advice on a computer/laptop/any electronics ask away...KC is the ultimate in deals for that kind of stuff. He just got a new netbook and that thing does everything and it wasn't too bad in price!
I also forgot to tell you that last month we went out for dinner and ended up going to a restaurant in SoHo called "Peep". I took a picture of the sign but can't find it at the moment,. It made us think of u! It was thai food tho, so yummy.
So far the plans are looking great! I may be weaseling my way to WDW for my birthday come june, if only just for one night, or for one dinner.
Talk about way TMI!!!! You're all having way more fun than humans should be allowed to have! Can't wait to see the brown T-shirts. My DGD would come in the bathroom with me and immediately make a "raspberry" sound with her mouth before she could ever talk. I was a little embarassed by her impression of me!
Jordan, your before and after pics look like they belong to your dook story.Your budget sounds good. We were fine on $1400 for two of us for 7 days.
Winkers - loved the play by play!![]()
You are all getting so close to your FEB Peep fest!!!! or Poop fest? I can't wait to see the reports!
Souvenirs? What are those? Yes, I do have money budgeted. I'll do a follow up post to go into more detail
Woohoo for midnight taco runs...though somehow I doubt that's what you were thinking! 'm glad you budget for souvies! And I like that you put in wiggle room. Not surprised though, you're a great planner![]()
Whew! I was worried for a minute. It's not a real trip if you don't bring home any loot.
Too funny about the girls wanting protection and tacos! You are a hero, Jordan!![]()
Your budget looks great! And makes me glad I don't drink. Those suckers are expensive!
Your budget is fantastic. So smart to break everything down. I wish Disney would add an option to the dining plan to include adult drinks other than wine. A bottle of wine every night is not appealing. Now, a bottle of Grey Goose, different story
It's too bad free dining isn't offered in February.
Would adding the DDP be cheaper than paying OOP for your AKV portion of the trip?
Thanks Jenn. It would be great to add some sort of alcohol credit. Figure out how that would work and send the idea off to WDW..
Actually, for the AKV portion the DDP would actually run a bit more. Plus, at Jiko and Brown Derby, I do not want the most expensive thing on the menu so I wouldn't be getting the full value of using 2 TS credits. Thanks for checking though. I did go back and double check. I would much prefer to do the DDP than not.
What you don't know is that the girls probably staged the entire thing just so you would bring them tacos!!
The budget looks really good. But don't you get snack credits? I was just wondering why you have $5 for snack each day if you have snack credits. You could use that 5 bucks on something else if you use the credits.

What do you usually order at Brown Derby and Jiko? I've never tried Jiko and have only had the NY Strip at the Brown Derby. I'm always looking for other options.
For your Pop reservation, were you able to get the gift card?
