Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I'm super busy as it is peak season at church for obvious reasons. The DIS is my escape from the madness that is church during the Christmas season. I'm in charge of the Xmas Program again. We are doing a Xmas Eve Outreach to the homeless and I'm speaking at a retreat in NoCal right after Xmas.
I can relate my friend. Our "big" production is Easter and it's a ton of fun to do, but holy herniated disk Batman is it some work!

I wonder why I'm so obsessed with crocs. i don't even like them
But here's the real question...did any of them make it home with you?

These little Bobcats can move! They remind me of an injured badger--not that I've ever seen one, but I can imagine.
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Heavy Equipment. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. I know where I'd be spending my free time. (Never seen an injured badger either, but I imagine it's akin to a wounded Yak. )

Here is the church, here is the steeple:
Now knock down those wall to fit in more people.

OY! I have to start thinking of that now don't I?:headache:

Nope! IF, IF I would buy any it would be flip flops.

It brought out the kid in me......wait.....it brought out MORE of the kid in me.

HA!

I called my Travel Agent friend and...yes, that's right....I'm paid in full for the trip!:woohoo::woohoo:

So now all I'm needing to save for is food for the 4 days that I'm solo and souvies and a few drinks. :rolleyes1

Yay for paying off the trip! :cool1: Just don't announce it during second grade show and tell. :rotfl2:

I can't imagine that high heel Crocs are very comfortable. Though I don't think any high heels shoes are very comfortable to begin with.

They're actually pretty comfy but not as wide as the flat crocs. (No, I'm not insane, I bought a pair to wear to dinner in Jamaica so I wouldn't risk slipping around the pool and didn't have to worry about getting sand in my shoes.)

I have a feeling he has to many female cromes in there, shhhh but don't tell him that.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: If that were the case he would be able to put his dishes in the dishwasher instead of the sink and his socks in the hamper instead of next to them.

Okay..back to the regularly scheduled family appropriate programming..lol. I hope you caught Glee tonight..it was awesome! Won't mention any specifics in case you haven't seen it yet!

Glee! I love Glee...but haven't watched last night's yet. I have it recorded, will probably watch it tomorrow at lunch.

millie - twerd is a combination of "twilight nerd." ;)

I think I prefer Twihard (although I haven't seen New Moon yet so I probably don't qualify anyway). Twerd sounds too much like turd. :confused3 (That sounds rude - no offense intended!)

Now knock down those wall to fit in more people.

:rotfl::rotfl: Awesome!

It is seriously weird, I know! I've tried to figure this out but have given it up as one of the mysteries of life...he must wait until I leave the room, I just think it's funny that he's still being that polite.

Someday that will get old and he'll just resign to doing it in front of you... too much effort to have to control all that, especially at home.. ha ha ha.

I am here. My dd loves it when she poofs. She especially loves it when she can make them sound like a motorcycle. She also likes it when she can out stink her dad. She is her fathers child.

SOOOOOO funny!!! :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: She's exploring her hidden talents... maybe she'll be able to poof the alphabet... oh wait, that's burping right....? hee hee hee. Yeah, my kids' ones can be really smelly too... Erin especially. She just finds that fraught with humor when she does that... ha ha ha ha.

Oh my gosh Wendy...they are so cute! I can't believe how big they all are! (One weird thing to me about not having kids is that I have no reference point for what age/size kids are or should be.)

I hear you - I even still can't always tell how old kids are just by looking at them...

Great photos Wendy! (And a cool Erin story.) :thumbsup2

Wendy, the kids are just as cute as ever!

wendy - the kids are cuter than ever!!! that little ashlyn is a doll. :goodvibes

Wendy! so cute and Erin is getting so grown up! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks... they ARE getting big :sad2: Erin and Dylan are losing they're "baby faces" but fortunately we have Ashlyn to make up for that... :cutie: but I guarantee you they still have their goofy, hammy personalities so you'll be seeing lots of comical photos from our trip... we'll have to be on the lookout for good humorous photo ops.

Oh Wendy!!! They are growing so FAST!! Erin looks like a little lady now. I just can't believe how fast they grow. The other day I told my DS the thing that the "elders" used to say to me when I was a kid that I SWORE I'd never say to my kids because it's just so silly...... "if you dont stop growing I'm going to have to put a brick on your head!" :rotfl2::confused3

Sooooo funny!!! I have never heard that!!! :rotfl2: Today I'm sure threatening a brick on the head would get you sent to jail for abuse... but back then it was just plain funny. Ha ha ha. So sad how times have changed... :sad2:

I feel like my mom using the "because I said so, that's why..." line a lot. Sigh, I guess we really ARE our parents after all.

On the 8th day, God invent Links. Thank you God.

SO funny!!

Yay for paying off the trip! :cool1: Just don't announce it during second grade show and tell. :rotfl2:

Erin is sooo smart. Wendy was driving with her and just pulling long words out of the air and Erin could spell them!!!!

Yeah, we were on our way home from church and we were talking about a spelling bee or something so I think I just started throwing out words... Erin, how do you spell such and such... and she did, and was all "mom, that's too easy... give me some hard ones" so I thought I did but she could spell them! Craaaazy. Trying to think of what they were... but I was astounded.

Wendy Your kiddos are gorgeous!!! Can't wait to see thier smiling faces on the TR.

I'm sure you'll see more than just their smiling faces... oh wait, that sounds bad... I meant that their faces will be doing many other things besides smiling... yeah, that's it... ::yes:: :rolleyes1:

Awwwww. Wendy, those babies are so beautiful! Love the new pics.

Thanks much!

That's OK Eliz991, I don't either and I have kids! The reason I don't have a reference of normal is due to the fact that I had a 9lb.4oz and 10lb.12.9oz. kids. Needless to say it gives me a sliiiiiiiightly skewed idea of what sizes kids should be. And for those wondering.....no, I didn't have them by C section and yes.....I'm walking just fine.

Ok, can I just say OUCH!!??!?! :faint: Reminds me of when I saw my friend's newborn baby who was preemie and weighed about 5 lbs and I was all, "Ohhhh, I don't even remember when my babies were that small...." and then I realized my babies WERE NEVER that small... hence my lack of memory of them being that small. Ha ha ha ha.

by the way, love your name. not even really sure if that's your name or just your user name. ray and i are playing with the idea of using millie as a middle name for a future daughter. we both want to honor our grandmothers and my grandma's name is mildred and his is billie. so we thought we'd combine them with millie. :)

Millie is SO much cuter than Bildred, anyway. :lmao: (side note: humble apologies to all those Bildreds out there... :worship:)

I can relate my friend. Our "big" production is Easter and it's a ton of fun to do, but holy herniated disk Batman is it some work!

Love the retro Batman quote... ahhhh, the good old days. "Will Robin escape the chains of death? Will Batgirl survive the gas chamber? Find out tomorrow... same bat time, same bat channel!"

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Heavy Equipment. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. I know where I'd be spending my free time. (Never seen an injured badger either, but I imagine it's akin to a wounded Yak. )

Now knock down those wall to fit in more people.

Ok, this is now officially the "man talk" section... wounded yak? demolition? making up new words to an old children's church song?

And just to put in my two cents on the poofing, I've known my husband for almost 8 years and have never heard nor smelt him fart. He says he is sneaky. I think he's weird (not that I'm complaining!) :lmao:
He is either very sneaky or not of this world:lmao:

Hasn't he heard the saying "Wherever you be let your wind blow free cuz the want of a fart was the death of me !!!!":lmao:

Hi all... I can't believe (who am I kidding... of course I can believe it...) that Jordan's PTR is on Vol 2, p 4 already...

But just an update - his kid pix are somewhat outdated... here are recent pix of the wee ones:

... and this is for Jordan: I'm eating my mom's pot roast and gravy for lunch right now. Mmmmmmmmmm good. And this morning Erin heard my folks come in and she thought she heard your voice, and she jumped up and squealed (as only Erin can), "Uncle Jordie!!!!!" and went running to find you. It was very cute.

Wendy the kids are sooooo cute !:lovestrucI can't wait to see you all agin in Feb !!:thumbsup2

I think I should bring a Flat Kyle he would be a perfect match for Erin !!! Slightly older he'll be 8 in January!!!But no in the bushes for them!!!!:rotfl2:
