(First Lady Biscuit was off looking at girly stuff so I had to do a self portrait with my Blackberry.)
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I see my favorite body wash! I'm saving the trip to the travel aisle til 2010...;)

What a fun entry, Jordan..unfortunately :rolleyes1:, I have no pictures from my high school or college days uploaded or scanned into my comp, or I'd post something like that.

No scanner here. I had to copy them from Facebook.

GB..too funny that you took the pic in Target! Made me crack up..

Made me laugh too. Expression even better.

(okay..so maybe Jordan's Sally Jesse glasses made me laugh too, but shhh..don't tell him!) LOL. I can't say a word though, I think I had a Benetton t-shirt for every day of the week! Not to mention the lovely Swatch!

Bennetton rugby shirt here. I was a double Swatch wearer.

jordo, great pics you included with the post

there have already been 14 votes since you posted the link

i am digging the run down memory lane

i think that girl in the orangish dress was digging you, is she still single?

or was that a family renioun not a class renion

i spelled reunion wrong all three times i think

anyway,

can i request you grow the mustach back if only for like 2 weeks before your trip, just so we can see a jordo with a stash now:cool2:

The girl in the orange dress is a great friend. Married. She was Homecoming Queen.

You'll probably get several more votes. I haven't even voted yet.

yes, you spelled reunion wrong, but you got it right eventually and that's what counts.

I wish I could scan some of the scary old school pix....

GB i am diggin the target pics

i went to home depot to get my mickey heads today, wanna take a guess on how many i scored?

:goodvibes

100? 200?

I voted. Love all the pics.

Thanks Mary!

More coming as soon as I can get them scanned.

I voted - loved the finalist titles! :thumbsup2

I'm thinking Dan didn't get many MHs because they're being discontinued.

GB - thanks for sharing, I want a Target travel isle! We have no Target.

Ahhhh, I loved the stroll down memory lane with you....

Your mom is beautiful.

So, what's the story with you and all the ladies at the "reunion"?

None of the other guys in our group showed up:confused3

So it was me and the girls. Girls are better about keeping in touch. None of the guys are on Facebook, but almost all the girls are.

:rotfl2: Love it!

I can only imagine what someone would think if they saw you..

Probably the same thing I'm thinking..;)

I voted!!

Loved the trip down memory lane!

Loved GB's travel aisle picture :rotfl:.

I also wanted to let you know that JiminysGirl reopened her TR!! You can see what she has been up to here .

Tracy!!!!!

Thanks. I think I look very different.

Thanks for the link. I went over there and signed back on.

I love your old school pics!

Those glasses are the bomb!!!!:smokin:

You were like 6 when I took that picture. I feel old.

I voted - loved the finalist titles! :thumbsup2

I'm thinking Dan didn't get many MHs because they're being discontinued.

GB - thanks for sharing, I want a Target travel isle! We have no Target.

I gotta find some more LGMHs for future use.

No Target.:scared1:

Gotta go vote.

I think the proper HI pronounciation is "slippah"

Hee hee hee.

Why yes, it is!

:rotfl2: Oh!!!!! How funny! I would have totally tried it together for some reason... sooooo funny. I totally thought you made your own little concoction snack...

But yes PBMC are the best! Farrells (an old style ice cream parlor back from my high school days) used to serve burgers with like 18 different toppings and one of them was PB&J. I didn't think the jelly would work with the burger but I was intrigued by the PB part and so I tried it on my normal mushroom cheeseburger order. Lo and behold, IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Maybe b/c PB and meat are both proteins or something (sort of like chicken satay, with peanut sauce)... but it was sooooo good (crunchy is the best). So now the only place I can get them is Johnny Rocket's b/c they have peanut butter on the menu. So I order it with a side of PB and make it myself. It's awesome. I tell people, "Don't mock it till you try it..." (but you have to like PB or it won't work...). Sooooooooooo good. :thumbsup2 Mmmmmmmmm.

oops, sorry, forgot to quote, but WENDY!!! Farrells???!!! :scared1: We used to go there for birthdays !! I don't think you know this, but I grew up in Hemet, about 45 minutes away from Riverside. We would beg for the ZOO (like the kitchen sink at B&C), and one year my parents actually got it for my party!! I loved it when they came out with the whistles and drums and stuff!!

AWWWW, thanks for the memories!!!

Believe it or not, the PBMCB sounds ok. I"d try anything once.

Oh Farrells! I LOVED that place. And the ZOO!

Most especially the real sasparilla sticks that you could buy at the candy store on the way out. I can't recall for the life of me what the food was like though I know we ate there!

Weren't they though?! :cloud9: I can still see my walking shorts and polo shirt to go along with them. ;) Oh and of course I had the whole "Mall-Do," going on too. Aqua Net was my constant companion. In my senior year book, I had the quote by my name that I was known by, as...."Just put some hairspray on it." If you got ink on your clothes, put hair spray on it, if you got lipstick on your clothes.....Put hairspray on it! :)
Collar turned up and ironed I hope!

None of the other guys in our group showed up:confused3

So it was me and the girls. Girls are better about keeping in touch. None of the guys are on Facebook, but almost all the girls are.
You were like 6 when I took that picture. I feel old.

That's funny, some of the guys in our group are better. I just got a FB mail with a riot of a pic from 8th grade. I am grateful he didn't post it and tagged me but emailed it instead.

Jeff was dying when he saw it and I'm like DUDE, you had a BAD moustache and miami vice hair and a members only jacket and parachute pants. You are not allowed to dis the high waist San Fransicso Riding Gear!

Complete with the Fair Isle sweater tucked in and bad Farrah hair.

Man it looks uncomfortable just looking at it!

:rotfl2:

I love the Sally Jesse glasses, very le chic.

LOL!

Voted!

I was DEFINITELY NOT thinking of you when I wrote that- YOU are one of the many classy ones over here :) We certainly need some temperance !!

:rotfl2:

"Freedom Mickey"!!

:lmao::lmao:
Awwww, thank you. ;) I can't wait to reveal the "Freedom Mickey" moment from the other night. By the way, Winkers named it Freedom Mickey. I can't take the credit, I just ran with it because it was perfect. My son was finally home long enough, (senior year) or not doing homework so he could help me load my pics on the computer and now I have to figure out how to get them onto here. That will be the hardest part... for me.

Good Morning "POOFERS"!!!:lmao:
I just love you Rosie! You make my day with your good mornings.

Love the Sally Jesse glasses!!!
I like the Sally Jesse glasses, I had a pair very similar to those.

GB..too funny that you took the pic in Target! Made me crack up.. Very funny! I'll have to remember that when I go next time to hit up the travel isle, it's one of my favs. to hit when in Wally World. Target's is sooo much better!

(okay..so maybe Jordan's Sally Jesse glasses made me laugh too, but shhh..don't tell him!) LOL. I can't say a word though, I think I had a Benetton t-shirt for every day of the week! Not to mention the lovely Swatch!
I had the Swatch watch and the Swatch sweat-shirt! I loved that sweat shirt!!! It was all black, and the only thing showing was the numbers in rinestones, red, green and blue and the hands. :cloud9:

i went to home depot to get my mickey heads today, wanna take a guess on how many i scored?
:goodvibes
This reminds me! I need to count my loot from my Freedom Mickey heist! pirate: Dan you'll have to tell us how many you got!

You were like 6 when I took that picture. I feel old.
I had just graduated high school the year before when you took that pic. I love all your pictures Jordie, it's fun to see what we looked like from the past. It's easy for you to post pics, you still look fantastic! Me...not so much, I maybe weighed a buck 25 when I was in highschool. Now I'm a nice round Pooh size.....a smackeral of honey pleeeeease. ;) If I had a beautiful face like Winkers I wouldn't mind having my pics taken. But! I'll get there! :woohoo: I know that I'm not the sum of my weight, I'm a beautiful person regardless of how big my poof maker is.....Oh wait! I don't poof, never have. :confused3 :rotfl:

Morning Peeps!

OK, so here it is....Pardon me Jordie for the hi-jack.
The other day Jordan posted that Home Depot was phasing out the Mickey head paint chips. :scared1:

Of course my reaction was of sudden horror  at the thought that next May I won't have a single lime green mickey head to place on my luggage, baggallini or room window for decoration. So I told my dd10 that she needed to get dressed..."We are heading out on a heist!" ;)

She of course had no idea what I was talking about so I knew it would take some coercion to get her out the door, she's an extreme home body....<side note> I'm not going to pretend and tell you I'm one of those perfect parents, in fact I'm one of those parents that will make life as easy as possible when it comes to getting the kids to do what I want.....in other words, I am not above bribing my children. :)
So I agreed I would get her some Wendy's to eat for dinner, I realize not the best choice in foods, but hey we were on a mission and I wasn't going to be derailed by a grousing child with a growling stomach.

So the bribing was fulfilled and we were on our way.......:drive:
We enter into the parking lot <enter Mission Impossible music here>, I survey the area, and check for any possible MHPC <mickey head paint chips> cops. :sail: Nada. The area is clear for our mission. Mission....Freedom Mickey.

So now I give my daughter the low down on why we we're here...I explain the mission and how we are to conduct ourselves so as not to be to obvious, no need to get busted setting out to heist all the MHPC's we could.

I suddenly felt my inner pirate: coming out, told my daughter...."Act cool, don't be overly obvious, and take no prisoners!" She agreed, doned her best cool :smooth: and we were on like Donkey Kong people!

We come upon the paint area of the store and looked around and saw not a single soul to be found <enter heavenly music here>....this was going to be a piece of :cake:, we started filling pockets and purse and went to town, all of a sudden a man appeared and asked if we needed any paint this evening?

I stood my cool :smooth:, said..."No thank you, we're just looking to get ideas." I know I'm gonna burn for that one... I told my daughter Mackenzie back in the car...."If someone pops up just pick up a brochure of some kind and look like your intrested :scratchin and act like your there to get ideas."

Every time the man's back was turned or went down an isle, we were stuffing, filling, and pilfering as many MHPC as possible! Of course I told her to leave some in each color so as it won't be so obvious once we're gone that we were in deed the one's who heisted them. Except the LGMHPC (lime green), take every LGMHPC there is!
Once we took every color we could without it looking like little Cindy-Lou Who's house after the Grinch came and took everything....we were so out of there!

We did it! The mission was successful! We headed out to the get away car and proceeded to leave the parking lot as quickly as possible, I stopped the get away car in another parking lot, not to far from the scene of the crime to survey all that was now ours. :goodvibes We turn on the lights and get out our zip loc bag (gallon size) and start unloading every possible pocket on Mackie and hiding spot in my purse. The more we unload the more my daughter starts laughing, she appearantly had emptied everything she had as I was still pulling MHPC out of my purse like a clown pulling a handkerchief that never ends out of his pocket.
She says...."Mom! How many did you take?!?" Me....<starting to giggle> "I don't know honey, I guess I didn't realize how many I was taking because I was just taking a stack and putting it in my purse without thought to how many I already had!" :rotfl:

Finally I had come to the end of my paint chips and surveyed the bag, as I hold up the bag and seen what we had, the sickness kicked in for the both of us.... kinda like a vampire, once you have a taste for blood...YOU WANT MORE!! So Mackenzie's says.."OK! So where's the next Home Depot!" :lmao:

We ended up hitting another Home Depot and by the end of the night, our results were very fruitful....wanna see?!?!

DSC02138-1-2.jpg

This is my beautiful daughter Mackenzie holding the loot (although she's not looking her best here-she looks like she has bead head), and to make the picture more perfect, she was doing the Jordie tongue without me ever telling her about it or even asking her to! :lmao: I love it!

DSC02132.jpg

And this is our cat Romeo watching us thinking we are totally nuts. Notice my Nativity scene, in the next picture you can see he took out not only a wise man, but an angel and I think Joseph. :rotfl:
DSC02136-1-1.jpg

Gotta love a cat who's into the Christmas spirit.
DSC02133-1-1-1-1.jpg

All of this because Jordie mentions that they are doing away with MHPC's. :sad2: Pathetic I realize, but a lot of fun. I think my daughter thought I had forgotten how to have fun, so this was a great mission....the mission of mother and daughter having a good time together. Titled: Freedom Mickey. (Thank you Winkers)

Do you think you can guess how many there are? Maybe Jordie will allow me to do a little contest.

I think Piper and your dd would really like each other..Piper succumbs to bribes of food also!

Very smart not taking alllllll the chips...they wouldn't notice a slot went from 20 to 2 :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I would have to drive for 2 hrs to hit 2 Home Depots..LOL. Almost out of hermit crab food, and we have to go to the "big city" for that, so we'll hit up HD the day we go.:goodvibes

What great cat pics! Made me crack up..esp with the knocked over Nativity.

Ohh..I'm first in...I'm gonna guess....263! I love your writing of this, Millie...really enjoyed reading it and giggling! :lovestruc

Millie, that's incredible! Loved reading along :rotfl2:.... hmmmm, let's see..... I'm gonna guess.... 138 :rotfl:

They were cool. I was much more into how I looked back then. Everything name brand..blah, blah, blah. All the kids today say I'm straight out of the 90s. Frankly, as long as I'm not wearing an adult diaper, I'm good to go.

so was ray. when i met him (in 1993) he ironed everything before he'd wear it, including his boxers. seriously. the first time i met him he had just came from church and was eating at a restaurant i was hostessing at. the girl that was hostessing with me knew him and told him she liked his tie. all he said was, "it's polo." i thought....what a dork!!! :lmao:

Millie I loved the Heist of the Century!!:rotfl2:

Can just read the Headlines ...

MOTHER/DAUGHTER ARRESTED
Home Depot's largest ever robbery was pulled off by a mother /daughter team !! Caught on video were Mrs Mille and her daughter as they stealthily stole every LIME GREEN paint chip in the store !!
Due to the severity of the crime the two are being held without bail !!
Home Depot spokesman says the store has been losing Paint chips for years and they are glad the rascally duo have been brought to justice !!

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Jordan, I think I had those EXACT same glasses in 1990! They looked super-rad with my Cavaricci jeans and my I.O.U sweatshirts.

Oh - dig the silver luggage! Where'd you pick that up? We could use a new wheelie bag.

100? 200?

I voted - loved the finalist titles! :thumbsup2

well i thought i did good but once i saw your bag i am a little ashamed of myself.

i was going to town picking them out, we get to the car, and i unload my pocket the wife says holy cow you got all those, i said yep in "that" pocket

i unload the other pocket and she just starts laughing

when i got home we ended up with 357, but your bag looks alot bigger than ours, so i am guessing you ended up with about 525

i will post a picture of ours when the TR starts

and i was nice, i did not even clear out all of the slots i left at least 1/2 of them in each one.

the lady was even behind me the whole time filling paint and was none the wiser,

it helps i was able to positiion my body to block her view, the only time i was vurnerable was when i reached for teh top shelf

there is some great response to teh surveys so far, and every possible choice has a vote so far, there is one clear leader at the moment, but it is still close enough that anyone of the top three choices can still win it.

Bennetton rugby shirt here. I was a double Swatch wearer.

I was just bemoaning the loss of my 80's Bennetton sweaters last night. I had quite the army of them and boy would they have been perfect for the ugly sweater party I was at! Instead we were all upstaged by my 10 year old nephew in a size 6x girls hooded sweater with a donkey on the front. It was a touch call between him and 2 of our finest local police in "bedazzled" sweaters.

Polo Rugby's were the only way to fly though, wish I had them now too for that matter. I do have 2 polo sweatshirts that I still have from those days. I think you could fit 3 people in them. It kills me how oversized everthing was.

And impressed you are brave enough to have your nativity under the tree with a cat around.

Jordan, I think I had those EXACT same glasses in 1990! They looked super-rad with my Cavaricci jeans and my I.O.U sweatshirts.

Oh - dig the silver luggage! Where'd you pick that up? We could use a new wheelie bag.

I have to agree on the silver, I have a Kenneth Cole silver bag. It is GREAT for picking out at baggage claim but man is it dirty! Red is just as bad through and more common.

I'm going with purple next time.

I hear you on the brand name-itis in HS. It makes it hard for us to be annoyed with the kids when they go there since we both were the same way back then!

Now it's more like....it is made well? Will it last? Will it be out of style tomorrow? I don't care how made it if I like it.

We headed out to the get away car and proceeded to leave the parking lot as quickly as possible, I stopped the get away car in another parking lot, not to far from the scene of the crime to survey all that was now ours.

This was my favorite part....the fact that you drove away for a little while and then stopped to see your haul.

When I made my heist I only went after the lime-green, and only took about half of the stack. I don't know if I have a guilty conscience or am just an amateur at this kind of thing. I thought about putting them in my pocket, but was more afraid of "eyes in the sky" seeing me stuffing things in my pockets, so decided it was just better to hold onto them and walk out. I was trying to think of what I'd say if somebody stopped me. I know I'd say, "I just have some paint chips". But I never came up with an acceptable answer to the next, obvious question of "why do you need so many"? Fortunately for me it never came to that!

Love all the pictures, especially the older ones!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 Great stuff.

I can see now that I'm going to have to take another trip to HD. I got a bundle last time I went so that I can make a countdown calendar around 30 days. :woohoo:

Millie...LOVE the story! I feel like I'm shop lifting when I get them. Yes, I am a wild woman. I live on the wild side.

". But I never came up with an acceptable answer to the next, obvious question of "why do you need so many"? Fortunately for me it never came to that!

now THAT would be hillarious....but your answer might win you a one way trip to the psych ward.:rotfl2:

Jordan, your thread and friends are always soooo entertaining!!!!popcorn::

Great Biscuit - I had to share the church story with my husband. Totally hilarious!

Love the shoe conversation (had both Jellies and penny loafers)

Love the old photos (graduate in 93 so I remember all the styles)

Love the mickey head heist! I hope I have time to grab a few before we leave!
