pebeo paint pens ceramic ornaments question

if I'm painting on BOTH sides of a flat ornament, do I paint one side and then bake it -- paint the other side and then bake it again? Or paint both sides and somehow bake it? I dont think that would work with it laying down, The side facing down wouldn't bake right, would it?

Lay them on wooden or metal skewers. Or just prop them up slightly by a corner, onto the edge of a fork or knife. This way they are not completely flat while baking.

Make sure the first side is dry before painting the other side, to prevent smearing, and that BOTH sides are completely dry before baking.
