We will be visiting Aulani in later May of 2015 and I've attempted to reserve online for several days but they are still not available for my date. In other threads/reports Disers have noted they are available online 6 months from date of visit but has that changed recently?

I was looking at the sight a month or two ago and read that it had changed. I'm not positive but it might be 30 days prior now. I did find the information on the website so it's somewhere there!

It seems to fluctuate and I don't know why. When I attempted to book for summer of 2013 they weren't available until about 90 days out. But when I booked for this past summer they were open @ 6 months. I recommend booking just as soon as the date you want opens. I would just check the site on a regular basis.

We are heading to Aulani on Thursday so I thought I'd just check and see what the website says. Now they release online availability at 7 am Hawaii time the day prior - so one day in advance you can reserve. Also they keep 1300 tickets for walk ups.

I'm guessing that they may have been running into problems where people would reserve the tickets way in advance and then not show up although their policy was that you needed to pick up a certain amount of time in advance or they would give out the tickets. But I could see how some people would leave if they weren't available immediately in the morning. Considering I remember back to when there weren't any reservations it seems fine to me although I'm sure it will be tough for planners.

I just checked. Currently. They are releasing some tickets at two months out. I was able to see tickets available 2 months from today 4/25 but none yet for the 26th

We visited Oahu last October and I checked online for Pearl Harbor Memorial tickets for several months before we got there. There were never any available, for any of the day of our visit. It just didn't seem possible to me that there were NO tickets available for several weeks in the middle of October.
Showed up around 10:00am on a Saturday morning to the ticket office, and what do you know? Tickets available for virtually every tour group that day. We (party of four) got on the 10:30am tour group, so didn't even have to wait.
I hope the online pre-book works for you, but if not, give just showing up a try. The earlier in the day the better, I am sure.

Thank you all for the great feedback! We will just keep checking and/or show up bright and early the day of. :)

Does anyone know how quickly the Aulani excursions for Pearl Harbor fill up? We're going in August, and I'm wondering how soon I need to book it.

I've been looking, too, and saw the same two-month window posted on the recreation.gov website last night.

We did the "Home of the Brave" (www.homeofthebrave.com) the last time. Went a number of places the other tours do not go and the driver was great!!

Thanks for the info! Now looking at the Home of the Brave website to check on their tours. Different from the Aulani excursions so now we have to make a decision :)

Also, please remember: Tours of the Arizona Memorial are *free* of any type of charge. If you are paying to see the Arizona, you are dealing with a third party tour operator, not the official US National Park Service.

They release 300 more tickets at 7AM local time the day before. There were none available online for us and sure enough when I checked at 7AM there was plenty of availability.

Here is an update on my original question. We were able to reserve the tickets online exactly 2 months prior to our planned date. One more thing to check off the list!

My family is hoping to visit Pealr Harbor on June 13th. Currently there are no online tickets available for the whole week we are on Oahu. If I'm reading past posts correctly, in addition to the walk-in tickets, they will release more online tickets 7 am the day before? We're doing our visit later in our trip, so waking up crazy early to be there by 7 is giving some of my family members pause.

It went against my nature to wait until the day before, but it is true. At 7am the day prior, they open up the reservation times for tours that access the Arizona memorial.
Another piece of advice; Book an early time. The wind in Pearl harbor picks up around noon, and if it gets too windy (rough water) they will cancel the ferry to the memorial.
The museum on the mainland is great. Leave lots of time for that as well.

Thank you so much for the info! I feel relieved.
