I have an experience with Earl of Sandwich. I had e-mailed them last year before our trip because I have a deathly tree nut allergy. I got a response from the CEO of the entire company himself! He told me to print out the message, and bring it with me to the restaurant. When I got there, I did as he requested, and they made mine completely separate on freshly sanitized equipment and in a different area with all new gloves, etc. Awesome, but we did have a hard time communicating his message to the workers. It is often crowded, and they can be overwhelmed.
