Peak December Promotions?

Are discounted rack / room-only rates ever offered during the peak times in Dec & Jan (say 24th - 1st)?

Not sure if I'm holding my breath in vain here

Discounts are offered to fill up rooms. There's no need for that during the busiest week of the year. Sorry.
