Peak day, late arrival

We are already planning for a trip for New Years 2023. If we get reservations for our arrival day, New Year’s Day, but don’t get there until 3pm are we still guaranteed entry to our reserved park with park hopping opening at 1? I know pre-reservations it was unthinkable to get into Disneyland that late in the day on such a high peak day.

Yes, as of this past NYE, that was true. But 2023 is a year away and things change.

With a reservation you should at least be allowed into your reserved park.

Hopping is never guaranteed, so you may not be able to hop.
