As we are staying the night before at the Hilton, we originally thought we would check in our cases the night before as it is always easier.

We have just found out that the parking facility that we have with the hotel does not allow us to drop our overnight hotel baggage in the car before we fly as they have the keys and park it up for you the night before!

As we are going Premium would we have a problem checking in on the morning of the flight? This would allow us to keep our toiletries and overnight pj's and our make up, especially as the liquid allowance etc!

Any suggestions? :bounce:

We always check in at the Airport when we fly Premium, the queue's are smaller and we have never had any problems.

We checked at twilight check in (we were also PE and stayed at the Hilton) the next morning we just went and checked in our small overnight bag, we had asked this the night before and said it was no prob. so when we had finished with it i left DH and boys in the room and walked to check, no queue at PE, checked it in and then bought the boys breakfast and arrrived back in the room 15 mins after I had left, really easy and straight forward, and as you have all been at checkin the night before it is only 1 person that needs to go and check in the 1 extra bag.

When we went in October and fly PE, we used online check-in and then dropped bags the following morning. This way the liquid toiletries were'nt an issue.

However, when we got to drop bags the place was rammed with people and a long line at bag drop (not as long as the economy check-in though) so we still used the PE line to drop bags which wasn't too bad.

As we are approaching our departure date DW always stores away our essential toiletries as they get down to the bottom of the tube/container. Then we use them for our overnight at the Hilton and bin the small remaining amounts. That way we really don't have anything that we need to check the next morning :)

She even managed to organise it with Joseph this year, which was a small miracle (she is an angel though  )

We stayed at the Hilton in May and used twilight check-in. When we checked in at the hotel we explained that we did not want to take the car to the designated car park until the next day - this is not a problem as the form they give you does not specify any dates.

We then parked in a car park next to the hotel - next morning DH took the overnight stuff to the car and then moved it to the designated car park. We found this to be so much easier especially as we were with DD (age 19 mths).

Hope this helps.
