We are sailing in February . on disembarkation day we will return back to Canada on 1:00pm we are requested a pcr test even when we are all fully vaxxed
Is this available onboard or shall we do it in bahamas and get it sent ? is it available in airport? what is the wait time?

Unsure if DCL offers testing on-board for those that need it to travel home.

AdventHealth Centra Care is currently offering COVID-19 testing at MCO. Price is $175 USD for the rapid RT-PCR test. Appointments are recommended and they won't guarantee that walk-ins will be able to get tested.

SWITCH health is selling RT-LAMP kits that you can take with you and then do the test with a telehealth professional. The test is approved by Public Health Agency of Canada for use at the border. Air Canada recently offered Aeroplan members the opportunity to use points to buy test kits at a reduced price. They are currently sold out but have an email wait list. I managed to get 5 to get us home after we disembark in Miami.

At this time, DCL is only offering onboard testing for unvaccinated/children <11, and only on cruises of 5+ nights. Who knows what the situation will be in February but at this point I'd recommend planning to test at MCO.

We are in this situation and I actually booked our flights home two days after debark as I do not want to end my vacation in a flurry of stress.

No, there are no Canadian approved tests available onboard that will satisfy your reentry requirements. I did not research testing facilities in the Bahamas but would be interested to hear what you find if you do.

I have seen bad stories about MCO testing and folks missing their flights because results were not available. I would absolutely not be trying to get a 1pm flight from MCO given that you need to disembark, get to the airport, get tested, and HAVE THE RESULTS IN TIME TO CHECK IN. I was asked for my negative test results before I was even allowed to board a flight to Canada last month. And you need to check in earlier than those flying domestically.
