PCC Todd.0 or BUST! My adventure in climbing out of debt! 10/13 T-Minus 29 hours!

Thank you Brook, for teaching me to just unplug the phone from the wall and let your toddler go nuts!

Jason had to be over at the resort at 9 am to get ready for the wedding. The wedding starts at 2pm so Aaron and I have a lot of free time. I take Aaron down to the pool to swim. He really wasn't liking it though, but I forced him to swim. Eventually he got use to it.
We went up to the room at 10 am and got ready for the wedding. We were getting pretty bored so we drove over to the resort around 11 am and were hoping that we would be able to check in. Yes, Nana's room was ready!

076.jpg

We killed some time in the room and then we went to eat lunch at the restaurant on property. After lunch Aaron took a nap while I did my hair. When Aaron woke up it was time for the big day!

We were a wee bit early.

They did a cool thing with the mixing of a red and white wine:

And now they are husband and wife!!

Of course we took the family pictures after the ceremony.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Good job!!!! The funny thing is, back in January when Henry was obsessed with phones, we did that RIGHT away. This time we were too pre-occupied with Kidani and everything that I completely forgot about it until I heard the emergency operator on speaker phone...:rolleyes1 :lmao:

And congrats on the dues and the payment! :thumbsup2

So not only is the No Buy thread really helping me curb my spending, but I started an excel spreadsheet of items and the lowest price I have seen them for. So, when I see them at or near this price, I know it is time to stock up!

That zoo is awesome! I hope you eventually make it out west! It is a site to see, much different than anything I had ever seen before. I had never actually seen mountains until Jason took me to AZ in 2006.

Oh that is too funny that he called 911! Good for him! Well...er...I mean good that he knows how to dial 911!

Thanks we are chipping away! I can't wait until I get to do our taxes! We both claim 0 so we usually get a hefty chunk of change back, which will really get the credit card debt gone or close to it!

So glad you started your TR!!popcorn:: <---that's for Henry! That reminds me that I have to work on mine!

I have been to AZ twice, but didn't get to see anything - I was just there to help out a church for a week. We were in the BOONIES on a reservation. It was a cool experience though!

I am looking forward to doing our taxes too. We claim as much as we can because we like to have our money NOW - and prefer the government not borrow our money and then charge us interest for it....:rolleyes1  Even so, we should get a pretty nice number back because we give over 10% of our income - and we have quite a few other deductions. As per Joe's software that keeps our budget, we should be getting $16K back. However, I think something there is off!!! No way have we ever gotten that much back! I'll be THRILLED with $5K.

:rotfl: about the "corn guy"!!! :goodvibes

Your time at AZ sounds very interesting! Most of AZ is BOONIES! Jason grew up in Lake Havasu City and it is literally in the middle of nowhere! Weird!

Wow, that sounds great! I will be very happy with $4k!

Well, I tried to add another chapter of my TR from May today, and it was sent over to the completed trip reports, so I am going to update this one as much as I can. Hopefully, I can get my TR moved back and finished!!

I guess I should be updating my TR more than once a month. :confused3:rotfl2:

I updated the first post at the top of this page...

After the ceremony we checked into our room!

Aaron came with us to help push the bags! This trip he was loving helping push the bags. It was super cute!

My Boys!

I told Jason to stand handsome! I mean, this was the first time I saw him in a TUX!
106.jpg

We went out and relaxed on the patio for a little bit.

115.jpg

116.jpg

Then it was time to go to the pre-dinner party.

I don't know why, but I just love these two pictures!(maybe it is because Jason doesn't usually drink, or wear a tux for that matter, makes him look so sophisticated)

121.jpg

122.jpg

Time for dinner.

124.jpg

At the dinner of course Jason had to sit at the head table, so I got to tend to Aaron all on my own.

123.jpg

It was pretty easy since there was a wedding keepsake for every guest to keep. It happened to be a wine stopper shaped as a Fluer De Lis
125.jpg

Aaron and I opened it up and pretended it was an airplane! This killed some time. Before I knew it we were getting our salad and they brought out fruit for Aaron.

The food was very good! And now it was time to see Dada!! Finally.
155.jpg

Since it was a double wedding it was a while before we were able to dance. Aaron and I danced a lil bit, but he was getting pretty tired. In fact everyone was getting pretty tired...

151.jpg

... even Jason's Aunt
153.jpg

Nana took Aaron to her room and Jason and I stayed and danced.

Jason's sister was so much fun! It was my first time getting to meet her!

My new sister and I, both born on April 21!

The next morning we didn't have too much time. We were all pretty tired....

We stopped again at In N Out before our flight and on the way back to the airport I took a few more pictures of the landscape. I love going out there, it is so differenet than what I am use to seeing. It is strange to think this is where Jason grew up!

I wanna know how you guys got your W2s already! We're still waiting on ours. :headache:
Looks like your doing great with the debt! We have been on a no excuses budget since we got back from Disney. Been doing really good. I have only spent $0.53 on a little toy that was on sale at Michaels Craft store. It was a xmas chia-pet type thing.
Anyways - while we were on board I re-booked for the podcast cruise (don't tell shawn). Hopefully we'll be able to go. It all depends on me getting a job and us paying down our debt. I loved this last trip to Disney but couldn't stop thinking about money. :sad2:

You've been a great inspiration! :woohoo:

Awwww, Thanks! That is too bad that you kept thinking about money while on your trip :(. I hope your next one you can set aside money that is for your trip and just go crazy!

I didn't get my W-2's yet, Jason got his though. I am just guessing I will get that much back because that is about what I got back last year and not much has changed.

I like No excuse budgets! Although, I kinda fell off a bit this past weekend. You really should come join us on the No Buy Thread! It really helps cut corners and that way you can get on 2.0!!

Here is the link again! And we start over every month! Hope to see you on board in February!

That is such a good idea. I keep meaning to do something like that, but haven't.

Looks like a beautiful wedding!! Love the centerpieces...and any gift that can second as a plane is a good thing with a little boy! ;)

There is something about a tux, isn't there? I remember my knees getting weak when I saw Joe in a tux!!

We had Henry pull his own suitcase this past trip. :lmao: Sounds mean, doesn't it?! It just had some stuffed animals, a couple books, snacks and a blanket it in though - he LOVED to pull it! All the stewardess on the plane were fawning over him, it was sweet. :lovestruc

I know it is a great thing! Between December and January I have saved $1200 on sales alone! I am not even couponing yet! :scared1:

Yes the whole wedding was beautiful! My SIL designed everything as she is a graphic designer and very artsy!

Uh huh...love Tuxes! That was my 1st time seeing him in one!

Awww..I don't think it sounds mean at all. It is all about teaching them and letting them experience as much as possible! I would be fawning over him too! He is a cutie! :cutie:

We will go with the color Navy since this trip involves the cruise!

We have decided on the dates!
December 5th-19th!:wizard:

We are staying but these will probably change:

We booked a savannah view studio at AKV Jambo for December 5th-10th.
We booked a savannah view studio at AKV Kidani for December 12th-17th.

on the weekends we will be switching to a room on Disney property that is the cheapest.
and of course December 12th-16th we will be on PCC 2.0!

Where we want to eat (we like to try as many new restaurants as possible!)-and of couse this list will grow!

Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (never done)
Chef Mickey's

doesn't the cruise start on the 12th?

Yeppers...I edited my post...I still wasn't done...Aaron and Nana are staying in AKV while we are on the cruise. We will be staying at Kidani on the night of the 16th. At least we get a night there. :rotfl:

:yay: you are booked!!!

I think if you are in a Studio, Jambo is easiest with a little one. You can't really cook much in the Studios and there is the Mara right on site...that is one thing that I don't like about Kidani, no CS! We cooked in our room a lot this last trip and had a TON of food, so it wasn't a problem, but something definitely for Nana to plan about when staying at Kidani.

Of course if you end up elsewhere at 7 months, it might be irrelevant! :goodvibes

Yay!

Hmmmmm...I think maybe we should reverse our stays then if we decide to stay at AKV the whole time. That way Nana will be closer to CS for Aaron while we are on the cruise. Are the buses closer to Jambo too?

The zero entry pool is at Kidani though, right? I really wanna go to that pool with Aaron! :cloud9:

Just e-filed tonight! Once we get our refund back I will have $2000 left to pay on the Discover. Wish our refund would be a tad bit more, but better than nothing!:wizard:

It really depends on where you end up at Kidani as to how far the buses are. We were really close, so the walk was very short - and when we went over to Jambo, it seemed like the walk was forever up to the lobby. Both have looooooooong hallways, so if you want Nana close to the lobby for a shorter walk to the buses, make sure to note it on your ressie. We told them it was a medical need-which it was-for my FIL. We got an EXCELLENT spot at Kidani.

The zero entry is at Jambo, the only zero entry at Kidani is the wee little kiddy pool.

Just e-filed tonight! Once we get our refund back I will have $2000 left to pay on the Discover. Wish our refund would be a tad bit more, but better than nothing!:wizard:

:yay: That is AWESOME! We are getting really close to having ours done too.
