PBH - Loews Platnium questions

Hi all!
Trying to decide if we will go back to US/IOA for the 3rd time, LOL. Now we are Loews Platnium and I was looking at the room descriptions for PBH on the website and on this site.

What exactly is the Parlor Suite? How does this differ from the Portofino suite and the Villa suite?
It will just be myself and hubby traveling.

Also, if you book at the AAA rate does that qualify for the automatic upgrade?

The "parlor" suite is the portofino suite. They just call the room adjacent to the bedroom a parlor. The suites are around 900 total sq ft. I'll be checking into one in about 3 hours. I believe the villa suite has a larger parlor, a fridge and wet bar.

Got back yesterday. When we checked in around 3:00, was told our suite was not ready. The supervisor came out to welcome us to the hotel and suggested we take a few moments to stroll around while they put a rush on the room.

It ended up being a villa suite on the 5th floor with 2 large balconies overlooking the harbor. Nicest room I have ever stayed at on either Disney or Universal property. It made me reconsider my reservation at HRH in March.

i had room 1700 king suite club level in october and that room does not compare to the one you had.

king suite has the dining room, double door bathroom, full size sofa, 2 tvs, 3 phones , etc..........but no balconies...........

unless you are having graceland suite or a larger hospitolity suite at hrh, it might not compare to what you had at pbh
