I know it will be a tight fit, but for the money, gotta deal with it.

Just called to make a switch to AAA and dropped our Club room to Deluxe Queen. The reservationist confirmed the number of people and asked if I needed the pull out sofa. I said absolutely, because we have 5 people. Then, she said one could not be guaranteed. :confused3

I really need that sofa. :guilty:

If it was requested, AND noted on your res (cuz you are paying for 5 people), you should get the sofa....OR the rollaway at no extra charge

That was my biggest concern. Not only was I paying extra for the extra people, but I was getting the deluxe room so I could have the sofa. I realize the deluxe room has more space, but I was paying more so I could get the sofa (not so much the space) and to be forced to pay for a rollaway seemed like overkill. Thanks for letting me know. I feel better now.

If you would happen to NOT get the sofa (or rollaway at no charge) I would talk to the rooms mgr. (since front desk probably cannot do anything, the next "higher up" could help you out). Tell them that their website states the rooms accomodate 5 and you are paying for 5 people in the room....where did they think the 5th was going to sleep?? ...the bathtub?? :confused3

That's my point  Where exactly is that 5th person supposed to sleep when the asterik for room descriptions for any room less than a deluxe can accomodate 5 people, but you would have to rent a roll-away for the 5th person. There is nothing stated (that I can see) where it says some deluxe rooms don't have a sofa bed or state anything about having to rent a roll-away for the 5th person.

Thanks for the advice. I had it planned that if they can't get me a sofa or a roll-away, they would accomodate me in some way that won't gouge my wallet, but I wasn't taking a downgrade because we really need the extra room. I figure letting them know I need the sofa ahead of time gives them enough time to flag my reservation and avoid the problem. At least I can say I have made an attempt.
