Pays to keep trying

Just to encourage all who have posted trying to get rooms for early Dec.

I had to make two ressies- one 2 nites at ASSP and one 3 nites at CS 'cause couldn't get a single resort for my dates.

Well, called back tonight to ask a question and CM at CRO was able to book my whole trip at Embrace the Magic rates at CS- I am SOOOOO JAZZED!

We've never stayed at CS (only WL, FW) so looking forward to it.

Also, with two young boys I am happy to stay in one place and unpack once.

So keep trying- things do open up.

You're right. I've been there done that. One year we booked a Wilderness Home for 2 weeks & then decided we wanted to stay in the newer Wilderness Cabins. I called every day for MONTHS until I finally connected all the dates for the 2 weeks.

I had NUMEROUS reservation numbers & paid many deposits because each reservation was individual unless it got connected to another one. One advantage to that was that when we got there, a portion of our lodging was already paid for.

It does pay to keep trying & CRO is usually pretty helpful. Also, I was once told that the reservations churn at about 10:00 p.m. so anyone that was holding one & didn't come through with the deposit lost it at that time. So call at 7 a.m. the following morning for the best chance.
