Paying toward another family member's reservation online - is there a way to do it?

I am visiting Disney next spring with a few family members who all have separate reservations at the same resort. Yes, we are all linked in our MyDisneyExperience account so I can see their reservations and reservation number, but "Make A Payment" is only an option on our own reservation.

Our in-laws are looking to pay some toward some of the other members reservation (yay) so we are wondering if anyone has figured out a way to pay online to another linked reservation that isn't yours?

Your In-Laws would have to log into the other members MDE accounts and then they can make payments.

We had this issue with my sister when she went. We paid for my niece and nephew to go 2 years ago. I just asked her for her log-in and went in and dropped the $1200.00 on their trip then told her she could change her password if she wanted. She laughed and said that if I wanted to log-in and payoff the rest of the trip she wouldn't mind. I didn't save my cc information on her MDE when I logged in. Just made a one time payment.

From my understanding there are only three ways to pay on someone else's trip.
1. Do as I did and get their log-in and password and make a payment. (Don't save your cc info)
2. Give them gift cards that they can use to pay on the trip (if using your cc that racks up points you get the points either way).
3. Have them call the Disney reservation line and have them talk to the CM and explain what they would like to do. Then of course you would have to talk to the CM and give them your payment information and so on. (This involves you being with the family member at the time they call).

Awesome ideas, thank you so much! And as far as them knowing my password and wanting to pay for things, I won't be complaining about that either - haha :)

The above is what we’re doing right now. I’m paying for my adult son and girlfriends room, so on their account I have their password as the same as mine so I remember it and then drop in occasionally to pay off chunks at a time.

Have a good trip!
