Paying OOP at CRT, tell them now or at time of meal?

I booked but since we are there for the free dining they said the cc would just be held in case of no show.

I have decided I want to pay OOP for this meal. Can I tell them when we arrive? I want to save the credits for later. Orginially I was going to use DD's credits for her and pay OOP for me but 1) it seems too confusing and 2) people seem to think I'm trying to cheat which was never the intention!

I have decided it would be better to pay out of pocket with my DDE discount and I mentioned this to CRO when I booked the ADR they said they would mark it DDP and I could change it when I get there.

I too would love to hear from someone who has done this.

i have also booked this and am thinking I wiil pay oop, but will tell them that when I decide, and that is when I an there!

My husband asked a reservationist if we could pay for 1 adult OOP (rest on DDP). They tried to patch us through to CRT so we could ask directly, but they were too busy to answer questions. The CM sugested just telling them when we got there.

When I confirmed my all my reservations, the CM told me that we could pay for adults OOP and use 2TS for our daughter. I hope that turns out to be correct!
