We have some friends who are going out to Disney in May. They are taking their granddaughter who will be 2 and a half. I am sure that they do not need a ticket for the parks for her as she is under 3 - am I right?

Yes you are right. When kids turn the age of three, they will need to buy a ticket.

Hi

A number of restaurants also have free meals for children 3 and under. My DS was 3 the 1st time we went and he had a lot of free meals - it's worth asking about.

Yes, definately ask about free food for under 3s. When our dd was 2, she still got a "free" breakfast at Cinderellas Royal Table. Nearly every Disney restaurant quite happily served her a small portion of whichever entree she wanted....we were never charged. She was also free at Chef Mickeys buffet breakfast and Crystal Palace lunch buffet.
