And if you buy a package, you have to pay in full 45 days before your stay. (Or right away if you book less than 45 days before your trip.)
Yes, as long as you are staying in a Disney owned and operated resort, you may pay your room bill with all Disney Dollars, if you so choose. They work just like cash!
Yep I have partially paid with Disney Dollars. I even put $1000 Disney Dollars down for my room charge. The CM didn't even appear annoyed at having to count them all out. I was very impressed.
Thanks everyone! We have a room only reservation in May and a small bill to pay upon check in. I've been saving Disney $$ to pay so we won't have to worry about it.
