We are new to DVC, but we have already referred someone. So, we will have some Disney Dollars coming our way. In addition, we now have the Chase Disney Debit Card, and we'll be earning some Disney Dollars that way too. We added the basic DP to our upcoming BLT stay, and I understand we can pay for it at check-in. Can we use our Disney Dollars to help pay for the dining plan at check-in?

Yes you can! :thumbsup2

At least I'm 99.9% sure you can. ;)

We'll be using ours next week to help pay for our DDP.

I told DH that our referral could help defray the cost of our dining plan. Good to know that I am right:cool1: Congrats on your upcoming trip!

To be specific, I don't think you get "Disney Dollars", which are a form of "currency" in dollar bill (and 5 dollar, 10 dollar, etc) form.

With the debit card you'll get a card with Disney Reward Dollars, and I don't remember seeing an actual Disney Dollar redemption for the referral..you're probably getting Disney Gift Cards, right?

So both will be a card, from what I know.

And yes you can pay with it. :)

:cool1:

3 days ago I received the booklet that outlines
how to redeem your "award dollars." Yes, the DDP
can be bought or off-set by the reward dollars...at the
same time, you can also pay your "annual dues" from
said dollars!

As long as it's "Disney," you can!

Tix, Diz store, etc.!:goodvibes

One point though, you "must" use your "Debit" card
as a "credit" purchase...paying for anything using
the card as a debit "will not count toward accumulating
Disney Reward Dollars."

Good Luck!;)
