Paying down a Disney vacation

I just booked our vacation for the first week of August free dining and have some questions about paying it down. I put the initial $200 deposit on a credit card and planned on slowly paying the remaining amount over the next few months a few different methods.

I just read that there is a limit that you can only use two different payment methods when paying this off, is this true? I put my deposit on a card I don't plan to use and wanted to use a combination of Disney rewards, gift cards, and my debit card to pay off the rest. Will this be allowed? Am I limited now to only one more payment method for the remaining balance? Thanks for any help.

I've used multiple giftcards to pay down our trip and then a credit card too. I've not run into a problem, but I paid online. Not sure if you called, if you'd be limited.

You are limited to only two different payment methods per DAY. And I think you can only use three different gift cards per day too.

Not true. I've paid down two different reservations for the last week in May and the first week in June using as many as 23 different gift cards in a row. I also paid using three different credit cards in one day as well. All were online.

(On one reservation, I made 42 different payments - some as small as $20)

Nope, you can pay it down however you want. Just be aware that if you cancel, the refund goes back on whatever you paid with - gift cards included - so hang on to those gift cards because they will be refunded to the original GC!

I know that you are limited to three different payment methods when you pay for tickets at guest services. However an example of a payment method is Credit/Debit card, Gift Card, Disney rewards etc. You could pay for the tickets with 23 gift cards(1 payment method), a credit card and a debit card(2nd payment method) and disney rewards(a third payment method)
