Paying Annual Dues

Does anyone know if you can use a Disney Gift Card towards paying the annual dues?

Yes, you can. But they may only accept two forms of payment. So you'll need to combine smaller cards into a larger one.

i have used the target GC deal the last couple of black fridays to get disney GCs to pay annual dues. the big thing for me was that you have to pay off the annual dues all at once - you can't just apply a gift card toward the dues. so as deb&bill said, i paid part with the GCs and part with a credit card.

Last year, they limited you to five gift cards. Before that, it was unlimited.

Sorry if I'm hijacking but I searched and this thread was close to what I was wondering about so I'm hoping for some help with a few follow up questions.

So, if you want to pay by card (gift, credit) it's all at once? No monthly installments?

Then if you pay by card it sounds like only two will be taken? I've used the Disney gift card site to combine cards but I believe they only hold up to 1k per card?

Correct. Monthly installments can only be done via ACH from a bank account. You won't be able to make partial payments along the way.

Incorrect. They'll take up to five gift cards, plus an additional form of payment. If your dues are greater than $5,000, they'll make an exception to the 5 gift card restriction.

If you have multiple gift cards for smaller amounts (say the ones you bought with your 5% discount at Target or various) you can combine them into one gift card here:

You can also register all your cards there,so that if one gets lost you can put the balance of the lost card onto another card.

My grocery store ran a promo last November. I bought $1700 in Disney gift cards, got $170 in grocery store coupons, $3.60 per gallon fuel perks and 1700 SW points (used SW credit card). I always paid monthly before but that was too good to pass up. I combined the gift cards into $1000 plus $700, my dues were around $1550, saved the rest for my next vacation.
